I would stay away from it all .... not a big fan of pastry type savoury products.

Sadly I'm the exact opposite .. I love pasties and sausage rolls, and chicken pot pies. When I moved to the US I missed my pasties so much that I learned to make them myself, including making the puff pastry.

Ed will come up to me in the kitchen while I'm baking and sniff my hair and say "mmmm, you smell like pasties" To him that's the best perfume ever. My friends think I cook gourmet when I serve them, which always makes me chuckle, when I think about how I had a pastie for lunch almost every day at school during the winter. It's kind of like thinking a hot dog is a gourmet meal

It is such a sad sad situation ..... take care as you do your job tonight .... all of the decent people in the UK greatly appreciate the risks you guys in the emergency services are taking every night protecting our cities and towns from these mindless yobs. Thank you

Welcome back Mary ... do you have some Dream 'eye candy' to share with us? Sorry about your 2nd CC day. We also did a 5night double dip a few years back and missed CC as we were being chased by Hurricane Hannah, it's a bit disappointing but at least you had a lovely new ship to explore.

DH hasn't downloaded the pics from the camera yet, I only unpacked it about 30 mins ago so I'll give you a link when we downloads them to photobucket I was amazed by the Atrium, it blew me away how gorgeous it was, we have lots of pics

We had a fantastic time Lorraine. I usually get choked up leaving WDW or a DCL cruise to come home, but this time Stevie and I were smiling cause we knew what we would be doing in 4 weeks time

Thanks Michelle It wasn't too bad, they had the huge stabilisers out at the front of the ship, so it wasn't too rocky and the Captain went full steam ahead. By late dinner time we had sailed away to calm waters and the upper decks were fully operational again and Stevie and I went up to play crazy golf, but (Claire you will love this) we changed our minds and went to Pink for some champagne and champagne cocktails instead

Welcome back Mary, sorry to hear you didn't get much time on Castaway Cay on the 2nd day but at least you'll be back next month.

Talking about CC, talk about having a cheek, because of the weather the cabanas were all empty as the people had declined to go to them due to the weather, so we went along for a look and the chap in charge let us have a look and take some photographs, they look brill BTW. He said since they were empty he would offer us one for the day for a bargain $300 Stevie and I were creasing ourselves - did he seriously think we wanted one when no-one else had turned up and the storm was on the way?!

I'll put the cabana photos on when the photos are downloaded. For anyone in the family cabanas, you get off at the second stop on the tram route at Pelican Plunge to do your check-in for the cabanas. There is a little stand next to the tram stop and the entrance to the cabanas. They are just a short walk to Cookies Too

Okay, here's a few documents questions:

1) Any Europeans/Brits got their docs yet?

2) Do you have to do the online check in first in order to get your docs? We haven't done the online check in yet, so I didn't know if that was holding things up?

3) Does it matter if you used a TA or arranged with Disney yourself?

I think there's only one flight that day so we will both be on it, it's at 7 am I think, Maybe we could grab a coffee airside while waiting for the plane. And yes I'm pleased with the BA flight they seem a little more relaxed about the carry on's

That's the one Margaret, the 7 am flight. That would be lovely catching up for a coffee while we are waiting to board. I think we'll check in online and get our boarding passes the day before so that we don't have to be at the airport too early. We are flying down on the Friday night from Edinburgh to London City and staying in the London City Travelodge.

We got our travel documents last night. Soooo excited. We leave for Disneyland at 5:00 tonight. I will say hi to Mickey and the gang for everyone. Lynne, I will catch up with your weekly recap next week. Have a good rest of the week and good weekend everyone.

That's fine by us Mandy I totally forgot that I spoke to our head server on our med cruise on the Magic re planning the PJ Breakfast. He said he couldn't guarantee when the 3 rotational character breakfasts would be, but could turn out to be on the 5 sea days like last year's WBTA.

Do you know what his suggestion was?? Plan it for a non sea day, then we are guaranteed to get the date we want and it won't clash. Not the right answer as everyone will have excursions etc organised.

Well done on all the weight losses. I am currently at 36lbs loss, I stayed the same last week, which I am not happy about. I am hoping to lose another 6lb or more by the time we sail.

Funny you should mention that Claire, we were at guest services on the Dream a few days ago and were chatting to one of the CM's behind the desk. We were admiring the big mural behind reception showing the map of the world, with the 3 DCL ships stuck to it on their current location. Of course, the Magic was stuck in the med. We said it was a shame that it wasn't coming back next year and she said that it could be back in 2013. She wasn't the first person that said that on our trip. Fingers crossed everyone for a 2013 WBTA reunion

Bradford's fine at the moment, no problems. All vanned up and just waiting to see where they send us. Just sorting the football fans out at leeds v bradford. It could be a veeery long night

All the character breakfasts I have been to have been in Parrot Cay, so the location shouldn't be an issue. The problem would be that some of us would have conflicting schedules: PJ v character. I would imagine you could even switch your character breakfast for another date if they did coincide; there's always empty tables, even with the characters.

We went to the latest Harry Potter tonight finaly. I found it great. I knew how it ends, because I have read all the books, but seeing it, was heavy.

And I got a new printer, so I can finaly make my doormagnets and some of the FE gifts.

I hope the riots in England will stop soon. Hope everybody is safe. It is now in more city's I heard on the news. And also the footballmatch between Holland and England in the wembleystadium is cancelled because of the riots. It is a pitty that it came so far.

We have made the online check in, but no papers yet. We live in the Netherlands, but I know that others in the Netherlands and Belgium got there papers monday. We booked direct by DCL.

Yes - 8:50 pictures outside the entrance and 9:00 breakfast. Of the fourteen days of Navigators I went through, twelve days closed at 9:30 with the other two days being brunch. Figured we should be on the safe side... plus we will have that extra hour of sleep at night with the time change.

I am not with the PJ breakfast but I will take the picture so everybody is on the picture. Just let me know if you need somebody for that, I will come.

Yes about the problems in the UK, I just don't understand people who loot and riot and hurt their fellow citizens - I guess I would get it if it were government buildings being destroyed or something relevant, but these are innocent hard-working people losing their businesses and that's just sad. Hopefully it will all be over soon.

I am about as technologically challenged as they come. I'm lucky I can post a picture to Facebook from my iphone and set my DVR. I don't even know how to work our DVD player. What kind of email do you have? If it is Gmail or you have a Google account, you can download Picasa and use that to upload to your Google account - it is pretty user friendly.

If you have a Google account, I can walk you through it.

As i'm looking at the old Navigator I'm getting anxious about what to do. There are 100s of things to do at once! I have never played Bingo, other than in my elementary school classrooms, so I'd really like to play on the ship. But we'll see. I for sure want to see all the shows! For you veteran cruisers, what was some of your favorite activities on the ship?

My favorite activities (not in order) were: the ship design tour, cooking classes, watching movies in the theater, production shows, character greetings and exercise classes. We also really enjoyed playing foosball and pingpong, chilling out in the adult areas and watching children's character interactions - we did this lots of times before dinner, it is so cute to see them interact it is very entertaining.
