Too cute!!! Thanks for sharing! :thumbsup2
I may try this as an iron on...although I just have the printer "paper" and have never done that....!

The iron on sheets are usually very good, we have made many shirts before with those.

This is what it would look like on a t shirt, we even found a suitable picture for the back!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

They seem quite blurred in this upload but in actual picture they are very clear :confused3

I was looking online to see about buying tickets for La Sagrada Familia in advance...does anyone know why you can only buy tickets through the 7th? I thought maybe it was only so many days ahead of time, but it's been the 7th for several days...:confused3

DH & I did the Tea in Gibralter. We enjoyed it, and yes, I believe about half to maybe2/3 of the time is spent at the hotel that hosted it (with a lovely view & very nice munchies), but we did get the other half (1/3??? lol) of the time in a bit of a tour and we stopped at the point where you can see the 3 continents - enjoyed that view, telescopes available too...

Thanks! I'll pass that info on to my mom.

I wanted to make a t shirt that i could wear to the Champagne Girls event, so had a go at designing something so thought i would share in case anyone else wanted to use it. Am going to make my shirt on vista print later :cutie:

Nice print. I also have iron transfer paper, but never used it. I think I made a doormagnet of the picture. I just bought a pink summershirt, so I wear that with the champagne girls

Do you transfer these pictures from Photobucket, print them from your own computer, and then iron them on? I really like this!

Hazel that is so good :)

I have transfer paper, but my shirt is dark pink that I am wearing for the champagne girls meet and the transfer paper is for light coloured t'shirts only otherwise I would've used your graphic.

Well, last night I attempted to finish my door magnets only to find that my printer does not like the new magnet paper I bought and I couldn't get any of the pages to feed into the printer. So back to Walmart to buy the same magnet paper I used to begin with, and hopefully I will have the finished by the weekend.

It's been an interesting 12 hours here, we suspect Lee has broken his middle toe! :upsidedow Poor thing is in agony but i've not stopped laughing. :rotfl2: He was playing with the dogs when he got in from work last night and chased one of them who playfully ran off with his shoe, as he ran through the doorway he kicked the door frame. The best thing about it was I was filming it on my iphone at the time. :lmao: :lmao: I don't think it will ever make YouTube though as he used some not very polite language as he rolled around in pain. :rotfl: It is very bruised & swollen this morning. :guilty:

I have been running around after him ever since so i'm not all bad for laughing. ;) Although I am beginning to think i'm jinxed, my sister broke her little toe two weeks ago and my mum broke her little finger last week.....I just hope it's not me next!!!!!

Oh no, poor Lee! I think you ought to wrap your house in bunting Claire - protect those little tootsies before the cruise!

hugz for Lee  Why do we laugh when other people hurt themselves ... it's a weird reaction don't you think? I looked it up and this is one persons point of view:

Why is it that every time someone gets hurt it's funny? Unless there is a serious injury just about everyone laughs at the pain of others. If you see someone walking down the street and stub their toe, or trip and fall into a puddle of murky water, odds are we won't help first, we'll giggle.

Even cartoons are based primarily on the comical nature of pain. The Roadrunner constantly blows up the Cayote while Tweety manages to nearly kill Sylvester every day to our great delight. So what is it that makes us enjoy this so much? Are we all cold hearted by nature? Or perhaps deep down we are effected so much by pain that we must react in a way that relieves the stress of what we see. It could be a vast array of different things and I am sure that there would be many different answers if enough interviews were to be made.

Could it be that we are trained to find pain funny because of cartoons we see as children? Is it sort of a mild brainwashing, or hypnosis that we receive from spending hour upon hour in front of the TV absorbing these things? I'm not sure, though it is a proven fact that what we experience as children makes us into who we are as adults. That being said I am sure that seeing violence portrayed as a comical thing when we are children causes us to react at least in part the way we do toward it as adolescents and adults.

Yeah, 'cause I really want a snack after looking at dead fish. ;)

:laughing::laughing:

Well, as someone who works strictly for tips, I can appreciate this. Of course, at the Commissary, it's more like, bag up $300 worth of groceries only to have the customer say, "I'll take those out myself," and tip nothing. Or worse, bag up all those groceries, take them out to the person's car in 98+ F weather, load up the car - carefully, so that nothing gets squashed or broken - and get a whole dollar tip. I'd rather stay inside for nothing and hope the next customer is better.

Not to start a big controversy about tipping, but everyone who shops as US Military commissaries knows the baggers work for tips (no hourly wage of any kind) and prices at the commissaries tend to be lower (b/c they don't pay their baggers). The worst tippers are the officers (except for Dennis and a very nice Major who likes to talk about his dogs with me) and the people with the newest most expensive cars! The best tippers are the airmen (and women) and the NCO's.

I have to say, this job has given me a whole new appreciation for people who work for tips!

I hope you get more airmen than officers then :sad2:

Reminds me of a friend of mine who was a waitress for a short time, she said one time she got left 2 cents as a tip, she chased after the guy and said "excuse me Sir, you forgot your change" I've always tipped well since hearing that story, I sure wouldn't want someone to come after me to return my change

Hazel that is adorable ... I've enjoyed seeing all of your craft projects :goodvibes

Noel, your superior organizational ability is matched only by your ability to communicate clearly! Inspiring! Impressive. Impossible to duplicate.

Thank you for your kind words!

The big news in our neighborhood has been a bear sighting (no, NOT Dimples, a real live bear) a few streets over. Later s/he was seen near the local Lowes. Planning a home renovation?

Happy Day, all!

At our Lake house we ALWAYS have to keep our trash indoors because of the bears, deer and raccoons who think trash is quite tasty!!

Oh they wouldn't have bothered about that, we took some too from a distance. It is the ones who want you next to them and close up with the fish etc.

I also remember in Tortola I was walking back to the ship(having left John with his iPhone having found free wifi:rolleyes:) and there was a pretty decorated donkey standing there tethered at the side of the road. I took a photo and then this chap stood up as I got closer obviously asking if I would like a photo for a tip(he hadn't seen me before). I hadn't seen him either, and never thought and of course didn't have any money anyway.

Also, the standing statues in Barcelona want tips too though you can be sneaky and get a picture from a way away. We saw one get off his stand and chase someone who didn't leave anything.

I wouldn't want to get any closer to those fish :scared1::scared1::scared1:

I got a photo of the donkey in Tortola but didn't get asked for a tip .... think I took it from across the road.

My parents have a couple of questions if someone could help me out.

Are the beds on the ship comfortable?

Yes the beds are VERY comfortable :thumbsup2

Yes I uploaded them to photobucket but if you wanted to print them I can email the file directly so it's the original size. If you or anyone would like the original full sized pictures just pm your email address and I will send it! :)

bought some clothes for the cruise today, and was cheered up in the process by finding out i can fit a medium in gap. havent bought anything in medium for years......

Those fish sure have very impressive teeth don't they?;) The donkey was quite cute all decorated wasn't it? It was on the corner and the owner was sitting behind the hedge so a bad spot really if he did want a tip for a photo. I didn't see him behind the hedge, I just thought the donkey was tethered, but he stood up and put his hand out as I got there.

Is anyone doing the Santa Maria Galleon tour? I am booking this for us as a private tour and was wondering how many others were doing this as well from our group.

Thanks,

Attention Madeira Daniel Taxi Tour Members!

I will be sending out PM's today asking questions about preferences for the tours.

It is very important you return the answers ASAP to me so I can make our van assignments and appoint van leaders.

Thanks for your cooperation!

Noel
