michelle, thanks for doing that logo for me :) the only way i know how to overwrite text onto something is on microsoft word, but have to do 50 of the same thing, so if the text is already on the piccy it makes it SOOOOO much easier :)

and mandy - thanks for posting the link to those images in the first place!

I have been working my way through this thread since last weekend when we first decided we may quite love to go on this cruise, so have been getting very excited to read about all of the goings on..........

We are Hazel and Annie and have spent the past 10 years or so taking our holidays in WDW. We were due to take our holiday in California this year but that fell through, and after spending an entire week sulking and trawling the internet for different holidays i came across the WBTA!

looking forward ti getting to know some people before we leave, we think we are quite easy to get along with and always love meeting new people!!

xxxxx

Welcome aboard Hazel & Annie! I see that you two usually vacation in wdw...Is this your first Disney cruise?

Welcome back. Glad you had such a good time.

I know quite a few folk who love Blue Zoo. They say it is much more special than the WDW restaurants, serves amazing food, and very adult too.

Thanks Marilyn! Blue Zoo is really my husbands pick, so of course I want to check up on it lol :rolleyes1 Great food, very adult, special....sounds like the perfect place for our dinner!!

Welcome back Liz, glad you had a great time & that you finally managed to solve your pie issue. :goodvibes

Thank you Claire! :goodvibes I guess I am blessed that my biggest problem in two weeks has to do with pies  Do you bake?

My mom is a wonderful baker and she makes delicious apple pies, so I guess part of it is that I want to be like my mom and be good at making pies. Isn't it funny how we spend the first half of our lives trying NOT to be like our parents and then in the second half we start thinking they may have been onto something ;)

Oh, bu**er. Why am I not surprised.

Okay, I'm serious about this "easy" thing. If this is as good as it gets, I would call it "slightly less troublesome than having to create the document for each individual" rather than "easy." "Easy" would be a button that says, "Share this with everyone in the group," not "enter email addresses here." It doesn't even give me anything in my "Contacts" list. I mean, if I "own" the Group, why aren't all those emails automatically in my "Contacts" list. I need a 10-year-old to sort this out for me.

Pat, I so feel your pain :surfweb: :lmao:

Seriously though, thanks so much for doing this for us :cutie:

Welcome aboard all you new guys :welcome:princess:pirate:

I'm Mel and this is my first ever cruise and my shipmates are dd 16 Paris, dd 14 Chanelle and ds 10 Ethan :cheer2:

No problem! Each image in my upload folder has a link below in the "notes" that try to go back to where I found it online. ONce you are there, if you click forward/back in that link, or even find the parent directory to view that entire album, you may find even more that are enticing to use! :thumbsup2

i think all us of should stop and say:

thank you pat! you rock!

thanks for all your hard work and perseverance with all the problems with FEs and stuff. and even more amazing since its your first time ever organising a FE :)

Well said Karen

PAT IS THE BEST

"Easy" would be a button that says, "Share this with everyone in the group," not "enter email addresses here."

If you share the document with "wbta-fe-2011@googlegroups.com", it will be automatically shared with all members of the group. Not terribly intuitive, but it should work.

We have never been on any kind of cruise before so this is all completely new to us, so we thought what better way to start than the Disney way!!

We are not going with kids but are just big versions of kids ourselves :dance3:

Welcome :welcome:
We my son (24) Paul and I Liesbeth are also first cruisers. We are also excited. You can get all your answers here on this forum. There are so many people to help you.

Hi all

We're delayed in heathrow for an hour so I thought I would have a quick look at the boards, I can't believe I have missed 70 pages in 10 days!!!!

It's going to take me days to catch up :lmao:

You could just read Lynne's excellent summary!!!!!

Welcome back(almost). Did you have a fantastic cruise?

Hello everyone. I wasn't sure where to start, so hope KARENTAN doesn't mind me starting off on her post. I am Jerry and my wife is Jan and we were on the April 2010 back to back EBT and Mediterranean . If anyone else was on there you may remember we brought our own Preacher. They can't make it this year though. I have ordered lanyards but not sure where to order pins and and can magnets be ordered? Help? We do not have a cabin assignment yet as we are Cat 9D GTY. I will update as soon as we get a cabin number.

Thanks Marilyn and Claire :)

It was brilliant, but we are absolutely knackered :lmao:

Just about to go to the gate.

I'm so glad Lynne's done her usual amazing job, so it will be effortless to catch up. I believe there's a box from apple waiting for me at home, so will have great fun catching up on my new toy tomorrow :cool1:

Due to the lovely delays in London today due to the weather, we won't get home till 12.30 am :(

We were blessed with the weather it was boiling, apparently it wasn't so good the week before.

Can't wait to pick up Tod & Copper, I always miss the little furballs so much.

The shopping mall in Monte Carlo let's you take your posh pooches into the shops, I saw so many yorkies, it made me miss my 2 even more lol

I have heard only good things about Blue Zoo, it has been on our to do list for ages but we haven't made it there yet.

I don't bake much but in the last six months or so I have started to enjoy baking cakes, don't think i've quite perfected any of them yet but they've all been edible. :lmao:

I agree...I am turning into my mother more & more each day. :scared1:

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!
We got back on Friday, very tired from driving. Our trip was great though, the Blue Ridge Mountains (Appalachia) in Virginia were very scenic and the weather was perfect. LOTS of fireflies (which we don't see in FL) and they reminded me of The Princess & the Frog - "Evangeline!" We hiked about 7 miles everyday and it was really fun, we also visited one of the Virginia wineries and it was lovely.

Of course I brought the laptop just so we could sign in and reserve Palo that Saturday. We got brunch and dinner, but I guess I should've done tea first b/c once we did brunch and dinner there were no tea reservations left. Oh well, maybe next time!

Thank you for all of the anniversary congratulations!

Since we didn't do an "anniversary dinner", we are thinking of going to Blue Zoo at the wdw Dolphin hotel next time we visit the world. Has anyone eaten there before?

I don't know if anyone remembers, but I finally solved my pie crust conundrum. I made a peach pie last night and the crust worked out fine - turns out I needed a little more water and a little more processing....no crust on the bottom of my stove this time :goodvibes

Lynne, having that summary is a godsend. :worship: I believe I was about 30 or 40 pages back since I hadn't checked the boards all last week.
We ate at the Blue Zoo at the Dolphin when we stayed there at Xmas 2007 to celebrate both DH and my birthday. Food and service were excellent then.
