Sept 1-6 2014.....ride closures?

Hey all...sorry if this question has been already answered.

We are planning our first trip to California/DL the first week of Sept. of this year so we don't have to use an extra day of vacation and use Labor day. Yes, may not venture in the parks on Labor Day since I heard it will be complete madness so may go see the ocean or visit LA on Labor Day.

Anyway, just wondered if there are any OTHER ride closures this week BESIDES Matterhorn?

Are they installing the overlay to HM and IASM for Halloween this week? Please tell me no! When do they start installing the overlay?

he y do not do a Halloween overlay for IASW...just HM and SM. HM will close the last Monday in August, so you will miss that. SM will close after Labor Day. Not sure what else will be closed until the DLR calendar is posted with the hours and refurbs. The interactive map on the DLR website is helpful, but they often have to change dates.

I think the Sunday before Labor Day may be more crowded than Labor Day...just an FYI.
