I think I've been looking forward to my next cruise from the second I disembarked the ship on the last one! I'm already thinking about that delicious Palo souffle and those room service warm chocolate chip cookies :)

Has anyone started thinking about excursions yet?

Yuumy, the thought of warm chocolate chip cookies. I must try these. I haven't tried Palo. Last year was my first DCL cruise and I spent the time enjoying my niece and seeing her so filled with joy and happiness. This time I look forward to trying new things. Can't wait.

I am!! :cool1: We have Alaska coming up soon which naturally I'm very excited for and this Dream sailing will be fun too! I get excited showing "others" their first DCL experience now and I'll have two friends with me for the Dream and can't wait to show them how beautiful she is!

Like a nut, I check in every day to my reservations and see if a cabin has been assigned. I know it's not likely until around day 50 but I check like a nut! I figure while I'm checking on being moved to main dining on our Alaska cruise, I can check for this cabin assignment too! I can't wait to see where us 7A GTY people end up!

Hello Heather,

I am looking forward to our cabin assignment to. I will be bringing my mom. She said she would never sail on Disney....no casino....blah blah blah So basically I told her Happy Birthday (August bday) and that she is booked and don't want to hear any more blah blah blah. I know she will love it and have a great time. I will be showing her around on the Dream too. My first DCL was on the Dream last Sept. We sailed Sept 9th and had an awesome time. I am in the same 7A Gty category as you. The first sailing I had and inside and believe it or not...Love It! I will love my balcony more since that is what I usually sail in....Looking forward to a great time:cool1:

Welcome!! There are a few of us that booked the 7A OBC rate and we're so excited to find out where our cabins will be. Make sure to keep us posted! I'm estimating it won't be until the middle of July but it never hurts to look before then - lol :rotfl: (or every day!)

So I was thinking perhaps to ask some ice-breaker questions to get the conversation going…

Here are the ones I came up with:

What do you do for a living?

Who is your favorite Disney Character?

What is your favorite Disney memory?

This is a nice idea :) Been in banking forever, way to long...lol My favorite Disney character is Rafiki :) and love spending time at all the theme parks. They are all so close by that its hard not to go :cool1: How about you?

My dream is to live near one of the parks! That must be so wonderful to be right there. Are you in Florida or California? (Or am I being presumptuous to assume USA?)

I don't know that I can pick one favorite Disney character; especially now that they aquired pixar and marvel (yes, yes, I know it's my own question, but...:confused3:). Lady and Giselle would probably make my top ten list. Lol

Job: engineer

Favorite Disney Memory... So many to choose from... Around age 10: Hearing my grandmother scream when the "rats" rushed under her feet in 'Honey I shrunk the Audience'. I don't think she ever forgot that. Eigth grade: I realized I wanted to be an Engineer while on the snow white ride; Senior year of college: riding Space Ship Earth over and over to try out the options at the end (easily amused we were); Last year: Introducing my Mom to ice-cream sandwhiches.... :cloud9:

I am an Animal Control Officer for our Police Dept.
My favorite Disney Character is the Big Guy Himself, Mickey Mouse.
I have many great memories, but one of my best is dinner with my wife @ Victoria and Alberts on our 25th Anniversary.

How fun!

I am a manager at a small family owned gym!.It is such a great atmosphere and I get to bring my daughter to work with me so I am very lucky.

My favorite memory would be walking around Epcot with my friend in 1995! We still talk about that trip all the time.
