Looks like they just released a ton of GTY rooms on our cruise, in almost every category - wonder why ?

Looks like they just released a ton of GTY rooms on our cruise, in almost every category - wonder why ?

I was watching everyday (sometimes several times a day) for weeks before we booked. I noticed the categories moved in and out frequently. I don't know if it's TA holding rooms which get re-released when not booked or if they have cancellations or just DCL offering cheaper rooms to create interest again. :confused3

I jumped on after you posted this and noticed my 5E room was $15 cheaper today than when I booked 3 weeks ago. My TA is looking into it for me but she thinks it may be a tax change. It's not much but could buy me a couple drinks on the boat. :thumbsup2

I just saw someone on the Sept 8th sailing who said they received their GTY assignment - anxiously awaiting ours :)

So is anyone planning to do the tea @ Palo ? I really want to but hubs is so not interested ... would it be weird for me to go it alone?

Did you make your final payment yet? They are usually assigned shortly after you have paid in full.

Has anyone planned any excursions ? where are you staying pre-cruise? what about transportation? I have been reading so much about these things that my eyes are going buggy!!

We have a rough plan of excursions but since we are first timers it will depend on what is available on June 18th. I have done a ton of research too. As far as pre-cruise, we are driving then staying at the Residence Inn for the Park & Cruise.

My family and luvmykids are doing a snorkel excursion through Nativeway in grand Cayman. We are also hoping to do the Mayan tour in costa maya. We might be able to add people to the cayman reservation?

Hmm, no tea... I guess I'll find out Sunday when I can begin booking. I heard that they were testing some Remy lunch/brunches as well but that you had to askon board

Thanks, we are considering boatswains in Grand Cayman. Our little one isn't quite 4 yet so we have to keep it easy.

My little one just turned 4 in April. I don't get in the water so I will be staying in boat. I found a neat floating window thing for my son to use on amazon. He will be to little to actually snorkel.

That sounds neat. They include the use of snorkel equip at the turtle farm so I thought I might let Jack "practice" in the lagoon.

Anyone else waiting up with me tonight ? I hit my 90 day mark at midnight and I want to get my hands on some pirate league ressies :)

Grab a glass of wine and hang out with me until midnight !!
