If anyone is interested, I have started an excel spreadsheet of all the cabins for our FE. I have broken it down so everyone can see how many people, ages, and gender in each cabin. I found it makes it easier to prepare and distribute the gifts!

I believe we are up to 10 cabins! If you would like to PM me your email address, I will distribute the list via email.

Does anyone know how to make a PDF of the deck plan highlighting the participating cains? Someone did that on our last cruise and it was very helpful; however, I am clueless as how to do it.

I'm kinda known as a spreadsheet queen. I already have one for the FE with all that same details (maybe even more and yes I'm an over planner ) but haven't started my packing list yet. That will come very soon.

I'm not sure if I can make a PDF of the map. I'll attempt it though.

What part of Ohio are you guys from?

Yes, I am glad there will be kids the same age. I was worried because we are taking our kids out of school... Drew9780 has a son who will be 15 at the time of the cruise.... The more the merrier.....

We are just north of Akron now. I'm originally from Zanesville (the dreaded escaped animal capital of Ohio/world).

I'm glad to hear there are a few boys his age. I'm hoping he makes friends to hang out with.

Last year when we did our 1st FE exchange, we closed the list a month before.

Does August 1st sound like a good cut off date for everyone?

Can we maybe close it July 1. I am making a lot of my gifts and they require some time. I just don't want to have to be buying things or making things last minute. We are leaving a week before cruise to go to Disney world and I think August will be a busy month. Do u know in the past how many joined during that last month.

I'll check, but I want to say 2-3 joined right before the cut off. I know one or two families tried to join after our cut off and we had to say no as everyone had made/finished their gifts already!

This is my first FE so I don't know protocol but I would like to see the closing date before August 1st as well. Maybe mid-July if anyone thinks the 1st is too soon.
