Seperate checks?

We are headed down next week for our family of 4's first time to Disney. We are going with friends. We plan on eating together for the TS meals. Will we have a hard time keeping the bill straight if something is ordered that is not included in the DDP? I can see this definitely being an issue with the limited kids menu and also alcoholic beverages

I'm wondering about separate checks also. My parents are traveling with us & they will have DDP and we have DDE.Since we're sharing a table, I was hoping we wouldn't have a problem.

Anyone else with a similar issue?

We are going with 14 of my family members I made the reservations for all of us and I asked everytime I called if we could get seperate checks because while we are all seated together in one reservation we are actually 4 families and would like to be billed separately. Every time the CM's response was the same, no problem just mention it to the hostess when you check in and again to your server. I hope they are right!

We visited the world in August!! So sad that it's over!! But anyway...at one of the dinners we ate there were 14 of us...some kids...etc. And at many of the other dinners there were 7 of us. We all were separate party's....my party 2 adults 1 child...another party 2 adults...another party...2 adults....
We never once had an issue with separate checks....we just told the server when we sat down...and usually again right before they brought the bill....when we gave them the room keys. We didnt have a problem at all...even when we ordered additional beverages that were not included on the plan!! Thank goodness!! I dont think you will have a problem!! Have a great time!!!

We just came back from WDW. We had a party of 5 with 2 seperate rooms and 2 seperate dining plans. We never had a problem getting 2 receipts. We had to so the meals were used by the correct people. Also, sometimes we did order items that had to be paid for and the server would just ask which to bill it to. That bill was seperate anyway. Don't worry - no problems. Have a great time!!

Seperate checks will be no problem. Although our trip last year was a Grand Gathering, we were "technically" 3 seperate families on the DDP. The servers had no problem with us getting 3 seperate checks even though we dined all together at one table. have a wonderful adventure!!
