'seperate checks' for meals???

We will be travelling as 3 sets of adults..maybe more. Do most places allow for seperate checks at sit-down places. How do that have travelled in groups handle group meals??

Seperate checks were not a problem during my 1999/2000 trip.

It's easier all round if you tell your Server you want to pay separately when you order - that way they can split it straight from the start rather than having the hassle of trying to figure who had what at the end

As long as you tell your server at the beginning, there should be no problem. I've traveled with groups many times, and as long as we told our waiter/waitress at the beginning of the meal, we had no problem. Very hassle-free!
