Separating people on reservation to separate MDE accounts

Forgive me for asking what has probably been asked 100 times but I could not find an answer. We have made a reservation at a DVC villa and there will be different families staying in the same room. However, everyone on the reservation is listed as being in the same family on my MDE account.

Is there a way to separate the people on a single reservation into smaller subgroups so each family in the room can control their own dining and FP+ reservations?

Yes. We had to call member services, who put in a ticket with IT. It was fixed a few days later. You can start by having the reservation holder "friend" your family's account so IT can see what account they need to switch to.
