Our family of four will be at WDW for a week. We have been to WDW a number of times and have always been on the regular dining plan. This trip two of us will be on the plan and two of us will be paying cash at table restaurants. Will we get two separate checks or will everything just be placed on one check? I would prefer separate checks. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:cool1:

It won't be a problem. Just make sure you let your waiter/waitress know before they take your order. We have done it several times. Doesn't sound like this will be an issue for you since it's 4 people total, but if you are part of a larger party and getting a separate bill they will already have the tip included in your bill. One time I didn't really look at the bill breakdown and the tip was already added and I tipped on top of that so I ended up tipping 50%.. haha.. she was very happy!!! But now I do make sure to look at the bill... I still may add a few bucks more for exceptional service though ;)

We've never split meals between the DDP and OOP, but my guess is you would receive 2 checks since one will be paid for with DDP credits and the other will be OOP. Just make sure, as the pp said, to let your server know which meals will be on the DDP and which ones will be OOP.

As the earlier poster noted, just ask...but be sure to ask up front, a the servers can then keep it ask straight and separate from the beginning and not have to try to get it sorted at the end.

You won't automatically get two tickets, just because of the ddp-cash situation, though. Unless you ask, you'll receive one entire bill, and then you'd have to use your credits on whatever they cover and pay for the rest with room charge or credit card or cash or whatever, much the same way you post gratuities, alcohol, etc when you've got ddp credits for the meals themselves.

1) Checks can be per-person at any eatery.
2) If six-or-more are on the ressie, everyone will have the 18% mandatory tip.
3) Of course, individual checks ARE NOT ALLOWED when using TIW cards.
