Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Just got home from seeing Tomorrowland, which by the way is excellent, first thing I do is get online to check resort availability. My wait list came through!!! I think it's meant to be :) I now have a reservation for February 6-13 in a value studio at Animal Kingdom Lodge for my birthday!!!party:

I'm glad to hear !! It was because I had my toes crossed!! :thumbsup2

There are tons of table service restaurants!!! The problem is that the 180 mark to book was back in March so everything is full. Also, just so you know, some of the best restaurants are at the resorts. If you are at MK you can go out eat at Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian, and Grand
Floridian and then come back into the MK (to get to these it's just a fun monorail ride or a relaxing boat ride). Epcot or Hollywood Studios you can easily walk or boat to the Beach Club, and Boardwalk. Your age kids would probably love Whispering Canyon. You could even do the dinner show Hoop Dee Doo, it is 2 credits on the dining plan though; however, my whole family loves it!

What are the days you are going to be at WDW at which parks are you going to? I would keep checking to try and adjust times and restaurants because things do open up. I check almost daily for a better time for Beaches and Cream. I decided just last month to book it and the only time was 3:20. I wanted about 2 so I'm hoping it opens up. At 180 the latest I could get my Rose and Crown reservation was 7:10. I like them as close to 7:30 as possible for viewing Illuminations. It's kind of hard to get one around there once their gone, but a 7:25 opened up.

9/2 flying in and doing 2 quick service meals Magic Kingdom
9/3 Epcot and Via Napoli Ristorante for lunch (which was one we really wanted)
9/4 MK in the morning The Plaza Restaurant for lunch and Epcot in afternoon San Angel Inn for dinner
9/5 Hollywood Studios morning/afternoonish Prime Time Café for lunch
9/6 Animal Kingdom morning/afternoonish Rainforest Cafe® at Downtown Disney Marketplace for dinner (not loving this one, I'm going to keep working on it)

Looks like you did pretty good :) I'm with you on Rainforest Cafe! I avoid that and T Rex which basically has the same food. I've never been impressed with the food, and I can eat there when I'm in Chicago. I hear a lot of good things about Raglan Road, but I've never eaten there. One of our favorite places in DTD is Crossroads House of Blues. I love the lobster mac and cheese there. In case you didn't know, a good place to find all of the menus is at www.allears.net I often look there to make sure there is something for everyone. Yet another reason I can't wait for my birthday trip. Eating where I want to!!

Now I'm getting excited, I think it will be a long wait from tonight until we embark!

I was just looking at the Nassau maps and the photos (they don't have street view yet) and it looks pretty safe along Bay street to the straw market and then up George to the Pirates of Nassau where we want to go.

Has anyone done the British Colonial Hilton? It seems you have to buy your day pass through them and in advance. We want to play it by ear and see how we feel (if it's raining planning a full beach day in advance may not be great).

this information is about two years old, but last te we were there walking to the pirate museum is not bad and there are plenty of people around (we didn't go to the museum, but we did see it on our way to the public bus). Also we did not do the hilton day pass, but we did do one at the Sheraton, which we got on the public bus to get there. We thought it was worth the money to have a clean bathroom and a use of there towels and pools along with a clean stretch of beach. Our daughter had just got potty trained so the bathroom was what we really needed.

I just seen in the New post that the 3 night Dream cruise on Sept 4th they only have 3 pages of messages. Wow we blew them out of the water!! I guess we are a little :chat: :hyper2: :mic:

You made me wonder how unusual our group is  So I went and looked at all the groups between now and our cruise. The highest number of pages was 6!!!!! We are totally awesome :cool1::banana: There is actually one group that only has 2 people on it!!

A friend of mine messaged me and said I can actually answer that for you; it is. You register your kids for Scuttle's Cove at the same time that you register to run the race
