Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

I've decided I'm starting on FE gifts today :) I'm excited we have our list locked down now so I'm about to head out and do a bit of shopping!

:lmao:

Great news! Major will love this. One thing I am excited that I hope this group will allow is for Major to be able to meet other kids his age.

Will your kids do the day activities at the camps? Major on other cruises has been slow to warm up. Once he would meet a friend he was super excited to go. Since we do not have 7 days for this to happen I need him to meet kids Day 1 :lmao:

Major plays minecraft but also is a huge You tube watcher of Stamy longnose videos.

He will be excited to hear of other minecaft lovers.

Joannjoe what are your families favorite characters?

Yes, my kids are going to the clubs,:cheer2: The last several cruises on Disney I couldn't get my DD Kaylei out of the club even when they took the kids for lunch we were sitting a couple of tables away and she wanted nothing to do with us. :lmao: Kaylei has never had a problem with first day'ers. she's so bubbly it doesn't take her long. Now Buddie he's like your Major he needs to find someone to hang with. Buddie's Birthday in 2-20 he will be 8 so they are close in age. I can recommend this, not all parents agree with this but it worked wonders for my kids. Once we settled on our previous FE groups. Kaylei asked if she could talk/chat/email with some of the kids in our group. Some parents were ok with it and Ill tell you the kids loved it they looked forward to the trip not only the cruise but to finally see there new friends. :cool1: They were hugging and jumping up and down with each other. I'll never forget Kaylei the morning of getting on the ship she said come on dad I want to see my friends. Is your family dressing up for the Pirate party? This cruise might also be a Halloween cruise too.:yay: I have to talk my wife into dressing up she's a bah humbug  I'm going to wish this was going to be a 14 day cruise instead of a 4 day. :(

OK I just got the greatest surprise. A Family you are from Rockingham, NC. I am taking my folks on this cruise and they are from Hamlet, NC. What a small world.

Both Kaylei and Brandon (buddie) love mine craft. They got Disney infinity for Christmas :santa: and they played mine craft instead. :confused3

As for an average I can only base it on our previous cruises probably about 35 to 40 cabins.

We got Disney Infinity, too. The kids play it, but they still prefer Minecraft.

Is anyone in our group celebrating a special occasion while they are on the cruise or at Disney world? party:

We chose the cruise this year for 2 reasons. My 40th birthday, and our 5 year wedding anniversary (although we have been together 13!) We never had a honeymoon, so we decided then we would do it at our 5 year. We were originally going to take our vacation on my birthday in April, but there was an almost $1000 price difference over the September dates. I am just too frugal for that!!

My kids would watch Stampy Longnose videos all day if I would let them! :happytv:
I am betting that our kids are going to want to be in the clubs a lot! Since we will be at the parks for 5 days prior to the cruise, we plan on letting them choose where they want to be on the ship. They will have to interact with us some, of course, but if they have a blast in the kidsclub and want to spend tons of time there we will let them.

Mia usually loves everyone she meets, as soon as she meets them...I hope she finds some friends on board, too. How cool would it be to have some out of state friends!

My DD Mia will be 10 in April, and would love to chat with Kaylei.
She doesn't have actual phone service, but she uses her dad's old phone on WIFI and uses the textnow app and Skype. She has only ever been able to use it to contact us when we are at work, so being able to talk to someone her age would make her crazy excited! :hyper::yay::hyper::yay::hyper::yay::hyper:

I have noticed that we have several school-aged kids on the cruise. I am just curious how many are homeschool families, and how many have the coolest parents ever to take them out of school so early!! :cool2: Or maybe different states start school later than Texas?:confused3

Lol! This will be the second cruise we've been on that there was someone from Richmond County! As small as a place as it is, I'm always surprised to find people that know were we're from.

have you all seen the Happy Everything saying plates. As much money as we are going to spend we need to call this our happy Everything cruise :rotfl:::woohoo::love:

We are not having anything too special. All of the family have bday's last of the year. One Sept, 2 Oct and 1 Nov. So I guess we could call it the bday cruise.

Major would love to talk with them I am sure. Do you all facetime?

My dad's birthday is 9/4 our travel day. This trip is to celebrate his birthday. Planning on taking the folks to Palo to celebrate.

:cool1:, I get my kids every couple of weeks so I'll PM you when I'm getting them again. I'm getting them on the 13th for a few days. She would love to text Mia and Skype with her.:banana::banana::yay::yay: :hug:

Our kids start school in middle of August so we are cool :cool1: Parents. The teacher's don't like it :worried: but when you have a family of 6, we did have 7 but she's at Fort Hood now. We can't afford to go in the summer or holidays. We always pick to go over a holiday so they get a free day.

:cool1: I've never been to Palo's but people I've talked to have said it's a very nice experience. Can I ask How young is your father going to be?
