Sep. 7, 2015 on the Dream

Hi Everyone!

I am more active on the "other" site than I am here because it's more convenient. Haven't decided if we are doing any FE Groups. We have done them 3 times before and since this is such a short cruise it may take more time than we are willing to spare. Planning on running the Castaway 5K again like we always so. We are already checked in with a port arrival at 10:30am and blue lagoon excursion.

For cameras we are bring 3 ( I am a local Orlando Photographer). We will have my Canon 7D with the kit lens and a 50mm, a canon point and shoot and a waterproof Nikon point and shoot.

There is a total of 8 of us on this cruise. My family is 2 adults and 3 kids and my sister in law in her son will be joining us on their first cruise ever.

Excited to getaway for a few days!

I'm making my FE, the first thing I read was to make it 8 inches, I just read it can be up to 12? Does anyone know the actual space available on the Dream?

There is, but DIS is picky about mentioning "the site who must not be named", so I can't link for you. Also, the FE list here on DIS and the other are completely separate.

There are examples of people that made their own extender on pinterest. I used canvas bags that I purchased to make mine. Or you can google DIY fish extenders and pull up examples.

You cant say the name of the other page on dis boards or you will get booted off here for a while some of us call it the Voldemort page or some of us call it the dinglehopper page. I know its a pain in the butt its their rules not ours. Refer to page 1 for out FE information.

I based mine on the 8" size. Perhaps it varies from room to room? I think most of the hooks are on a small angled corner like the picture I posted. Also, I've heard of some people that would prefer a wider extender and just move it out of the way when they open and close their doors.

On here we are breaking down into smaller groups. Some people are choosing to be part of all groups. I think you are already a part of the "other" page!!!

They are not signed up for the FE there though. At least not on the list.

Amber (who is running DIS FE) said three groups, but it isn't set in stone yet. She is finalizing our lists after June 28th. You can see the current complete list on page 1 of this thread. That is the list that will be split at the end of this month.

When you get a moment, I need your stateroom number so that I can add it on. We will be splitting the list into smaller groups on June 28th and the list will then be finalized. As it stands right now, I am looking to make 3 smaller lists. There are a few of us that want to be on multiple lists, so you might notice some of the families on all of them. If you have any questions about anything, don't hesitate to ask. We have several veteran cruisers on here, and they have been VERY helpful to us newbies

I can't guarantee 15 per group. I will be splitting them up as equally as possible, and it will depend on how many folks want to be in more than one list. However, you are welcome to be on 1, 2, or all 3 lists on this board to increase the number of families you are involved with. I plan on doing all 3.
Also, I will get the list updated removing you from MollieLovesKiss so there will not be any confusion. I would check back and see why you were added that way, but that is toooooo many posts to read!!
