Sep 27-Oct 4 Weather Worried?

Iam so thrilled about me and my wifes upcoming trip.I was just thinking about the weather and how it may effect are trip and was thinking if I was the only person that watches the weather channel like it's a good movie up until my trip...lol...if there is anyone who is going about the same time that we are I would like to know if you guys think about the weather at all (hope Iam not the only nutt)....lol. We are also going to MNSSHP on the 30th of Sept and Iam praying the rain does not wash are party away.


These last 2 weeks are driving me insane....lolol

We've always gone last week of Sept into early Oct. We've never experienced severe weather, just the normal Orlando storms.

While I'm not hoping for dangerous weather, heavy rain at Disney can be a blessing in disguise. Put on a poncho, brave the storm, and you can have an AMAZING time in an empty park.

The highs so far are going to be around 90. The lows around 70. Pretty good weather for Disney touring.

I think its going to be a great trip. I guess the little things worry me before we go on trips but Disney World is special so I guess I want everything to go as plan (I know it will) just like to know how all u guys fell when you have two weeks to go. If it does rain everyday I will embrace it...lol...lol

We are also going Sept. 27th till Oct. 6th and it is our first trip ever!!!!! I am real excited and haven't heard anything about that weather that far out yet. I am hoping for good weather though!

Wow - we will be overlapping. We are going Sept.27-Oct.1 and will also be attending MNSSHP on Sept.30!

Can't wait to ride the Haunted Mansion at MNSSHP check out the rehab to see whats different and the spookyness of MNSSHP, I think will make this ride a little bit more interesting

We are going to POR Sept 27-Oct 5. Last year we went Sept 28-Oct 6 and not a drop of rain the entire trip. I am praying for the same weather this year.

Yes, please don't remind me about the long range! Our trip starts Sept.27 amidst a week of thunderstorms.

I've had over 10 WDW trips in May and one trip in July and if it ever rained you would blink and it would be gone.

In theory September sounded great for the hurricane/storm season DISCOUNTS....I guess all I heard was DISCOUNTS not bad weather but now that we are getting closer and the long range forecast is showing only thunderstorms I am getting really nervous!!!

I am the type of person who HATES to be wet, and HATES rain. My mood goes miserable if I am having a bad hair day, LOL, and I am guaranteed to have a bad hair day the second my hair comes in contact with rain, i.e. friz city!

However, such is life and I have been reading these posts determined to adopt a positive attitude come rain or high water. It's just me and DD4 on this trip so my attitude is going to completely set the tone on how this trip onfolds.

After reading the washed-out MNSSHP reports from Sept.15 I felt sick to my stomach. However, I am glad I did because now I am at least prepared for it. Now if it is anything less than a 100% complete washout I will be on cloud nine!

It's amazing - the various posts on these threads demonstrate how people's attitudes directly affect their overall experiences. It's been enough to turn this eternal "glass is half-empty" into a "half-full" thinker!

So break out those old Fred Astaire tunes and let's go "Singin' in the Rain!"

I don't mind a daily shower or so but I agree that a total washout would stink. However, we can't choose the weather and it will be what it will be and we just have to make the best of it. Let's all the do the sunshine dance.

The weather forcast must be too far out to be accurate, because today it shows a few of days with thunderstorms again! As guess the closer to our trip date the more accurate the report may be.
