I posted here a few weeks ago that my wife and I had sent my parents to SSR through our DVC membership for their vacation. They were absolutely thrilled with the resort. They had never stayed at a Vacation Club Resort, and actually had not ever seen MGM or Animal Kingdom, so it had been awhile for them!
Just thought everyone would like to know that they really liked SSR!!!
They were thrilled with how close DTD was, and went over just about every night for dinner hitting Earl of Sandwich, Rainforest Cafe and a few others. They also loved the Artists Pallete for breakfast, and my dad loved the flatbread pizza's. They were most impressed with how nice the staff was and the welcome homes they received.
They rented a car and had no problem getting around and finding places. Parks were not bad at all - they got on the rides they wanted to with no problem and my dad loved Mission Space.
I am sure if they were younger - they might consider joining. We are just so glad we sent them - we may bring them down with us the next time we go!
