Sent our closing docs with a big old check yesterday! Cant wait to be owners at Boardwalk. How long does it take once that is official to be able to book with our points?

I don't know, but we are sending our closing documents tomororrow and are about to be owners at Boardwalk as well. We are so excited!

We just put ours in the mail for the Wilderness Lodge yesterday . It is our favorite resort (so far).

I am interested in this as well...I sent my closing docs along with a check before thanksgiving...got an email on 12/5 saying contract finally closed. I got 2 emails from the real estate co - one said I'd be able to book with Disney in 10 days, the other email said 2-4 weeks! Why do these transactions take FOREVER

It's been 13 days since I've officially closed and I still don't have my membership number. However, I did get my activation code through email so I guess I just have to wait a few more days, hopefully. Crossing my fingers for both of us!

I just checked and our deed was recorded today... Yeah.. NOw we wait for the points load... I keep checking the website to see if they are there.. Lol

Darbry.. How did you make out... Our points were deposited on 12/10. Contract sent to ROFR 10/28. Passed ROFR 11/24 contract sent to. Title company on 12/4 points deposited 12/10. This our second contract so I think it was easier this time...

Looked and our points were in there about two days ago!!! Already booked at AKL for next June.

Congrats everyone on the new ownership

We're new owners at BWV, too- closed 12/13, Deed recorded on 12/18. Haven't received any paperwork/activation/welcome home e-mails or letters yet, but I'm anxious (of course!). Any idea when they should arrive?
