Ok, someone help me out here on pricing for the Rain Forest Room on a 3 night cruise on the Dream. If you purchase the one day passes from the "in room gifts" prior to cruising they are $16/ea so for a couple it would be $96 for the length of the cruise (3 days). When you board, day 1 in your navigator, they have a "Rain Forest Deluxe Cruise Pass" and it is $102 for the length of your cruise.

Is there any difference or is it literally just $6 cheaper to do it ahead of time.

Thanks as always =)

PS..we haven't done it before but our tablemates on our last cruise did and loved it so we're thinking about trying it out this time.

We did the one day pass and I purchased ahead of time. I am guessing that it is the same thing just a cheaper price to pre book, because I didn't see anything there that would have been available to only those with the "deluxe" package.

We have only purchased them in advance, most recently on the cruise we completed last week. I know that they won't add the 18% spa gratuity on there if you do in advance. Not sure if the price on board includes it or not. You can still opt to buy the sugar/salt scrubs for $9 each. We bought some and shared between us.

You'll pay the gratuity both in-advance or on-board. On a 6/7 day you'll end up ahead with the length of cruise purchased on-board. Every other time, you'll save buying in advance the single day passes. Way back the on-board used to have the advantage of scrubs, but not anymore unless paying even more. Remember as well the first day is largely written-off unless you wish to do after dinner as the area has an open house all of the first day through late afternoon. If doing a 3-day sailing, I'd only buy for 2 days. Our last 3-day we did this and did not even use the last 2 passes the 3rd day with Castaway and all the other on-board activity available.

On a 4-night Dream cruise we paid the onboard special price of $99 per couple (and yes they added the 18% gratuity). DH used Senses every day but I only got there twice, so I think we just about broke even. I considered buying in advance only because I thought they might sell out. If they do there is always the adults only section of the ship.

That's what I thought. Thanks!

One more Senses question for the experts, my wife and I want to do a pedicure together. I've checked and they have reservations available for the 2 of us together at the same time. There's obviously no "couples" pedicure package. Should we go to Senses when we first get onboard to make sure they know we're a couple so we can be seated by each other when we're having our pedicures?
