I don't know if this is old news or not, but I just found it tonight. I'm hoping my picture got accepted for the free Senseo give away but have been scoping them and other pod machines out just in case. One thing I read was that people didn't like the fact that you had to use Senseo pods and not the coffee you have at home. Well, I was in Walmart tonight and PRESTO makes a pod holder especially for 2 of the Senseo machines - they advertise that this allows you to use any kind of coffee. It cost ~10. This makes it easier for me to tell DH to get this brand of machine since I can use coffee and beans I already have at home. HTH-

That is so great! I love my senseo coffee maker! Makes the BEST coffee I have ever had! Let me know if that presto thing works out ok -

I've had a set of Eco-Pods for my Senseo almost from the time I got it last year. I don't care for Senseo's coffee (which is Folger's in disguise) and would much prefer my Gevalia. I got them on eBay but they now have them on Amazon.

Just be cautious when you fill the pods. You want to make very sure that you do not pack the coffee grounds too tightly in the pod. If you do, the Senseo can spew hot liquid from the top and sides. It will also lock up so that you cannot open the pod and remove it until the unit has cooled completely.

It takes a little bit of experimenting but once you get it down, it is well worth the effort.
