My usual posts are responses, answers on the cruise forum, or stuff on the rewards board, but this morning I recieved some horrible news.

Many years ago, I had a drive-thru teller that was much older than me (she was close to retirement...I was 19)... I learned alot from her. Not just about the job, but the importance of respecting the differences between folks. She was close to retirement and I was just starting out. We didn't always agree, but we respected each other.

This morning I got a phone call that Sarah (not Sandra, as the story states) and her husband were murdered by their granddaughter. I'm sitting here at work and I just can't stop thinking about the senselessness of crime. Not just this crime...but any crime. It just stinks. I just needed to vent!! Thanks for taking the time to read the post. :sad1:

Just horrible. I am sorry for your loss. Sounds like a wonderful role model for you.

That is awful. I cannot understand how/why people murder others and especially hard to deal with when its a family member. Its just tragic.

gdulaney-- I'm in your area and have been following the story... I'm so thankful they found those kids, and I know they will be brought to justice for what happened to your friend. Hugs to you.
