I’m taking my DD17 and 1-2 of her friends for 3-4 nights in April. We are veterans doing family trips, but this is the first time with friends. My role in this is minimal - book rooms and get the initial LLs and maybe booking an ADR, but otherwise, stay out of their way. Would love to hear your tips and words of wisdom!

- For privacy, we would get 2 rooms.
- Budget is a moderate. Any of them would be better than other mods for this purpose?
- I know I need to add the other kids so we can make LLs together. Once I do this, we should all be able to see the same trip, but they won’t be able to see our other trips, right?
- What would be a fun ADR to wrap up the celebration?
- Any other tips or anything that was a hit with your older teens?

On Friends & Family find their name then check only plans we share.

I’d be tempted by CBR due to the Skyliner. Easy access for them to EP & DHS so they won’t have to be shoved on a bus of families for every single park.

If you request the area near RIV Skyliner station they could even walk to RIV for the coffee shop and use it’s quick service, kinda giving the trip a fancier feel teenager girls might appreciate.

Honestly, I would really consider Pop if you want two rooms - or even a family suite at AOA where you take the bedroom and the kids have the other room and their own bathroom.

I don’t think teenagers are that picky about rooms and resort when they are with friends. They want a pool (at least my girls did) and a bed. Pop and AOA have terrific transportation with the skyliner and great bus device.

Is at least one of the girls 18? You'll need someone over 18 to be the lead guest in the second room.

I'm kind of leaning towards this idea for the reasons you mention. I have to say though, the CBR rooms are so uninspiring! Couldn't they have put in some Disney touches in them? And the size of the resort makes me a little nervous that we'll be put in different buildings.

I do like the one bus stop feature of Pop and AOA and I like the theming. I have to look into the differences with moderates because this may be a good choice for us that we had not considered!

Agree. My DD and 3 of her friends went on a trip in June 2008 after they graduated HS. They stayed at Pop, which I think was still relatively new (no skyliner back then). They had a good time, DD had been there enough to know what to do.

We are also taking a senior trip but staying in a 2 bedroom villa at Saratoga. It is a lock off and feel that it would give some privacy. I like that we are staying next to Disney Springs with a a bunch of teenagers!
