I actually got to comment twice in my yearbook. Once for the graduating class page and another one for the yearbook class page. Yearbook class was basically the people who made the book. I'm very proud of the pages I created. Our theme was computers/internet. Got a good grade in that class to.
Anyway, my graduating comment was basically about how happy I was to be getting out of high school and how I have great friends and yada yada yada. My ending of that comment was "Party on Wayne. Party on Garth." You are considered awesome if you get that reference.
My yearbook page comment was "Smile for pictures in the yearbook! Be happy!" because whenever I asked to take pictures of people for the yearbook they were like "yeah" then they just frowned. I'm like "come on! Smile for Pete's sake!"
And for all you guys graduating soon...GET YOUR CLASSMATES TO WRITE MESSAGES!!! The yearbook class was so angry because more than half the graduating class didn't write any messages. We had blank boxes with their pictures next to them instead. It looked awful!
Our yearbook staff isn't doing senior quotes this year because they are "overdone".
I think they're traditional.
I'm a bit annoyed by it.
If I had one it would be "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them" - Walt Disney.
lol in July 2007 when i was in summer camp, there were camp counselors from a nearby town with the most awesome quote ever on their shirts: "stick a fork in us, we're done." sadly though it took me an entire week to realize what it meant haha ;D
Not all strange things are bad. Richard Adams, Watership Down. Ive had a pretty good run through DSS. By pretty good, I mean the friends, not the work. But I lived long enough to finish Math 11, and thats what matters. But really, instead of doing anything productive, Ive spent time in front of the TV playing Shadow of the Colossus and thinking to myself, in the immortal words of Garfield Logan, Dude, I could stare at that for hours!
Yeah, we get long quotes since our graphics and photo students make the yearbook. Props if you know who Garfield Logan is.
