Sending Pixie Dust to Iraq....A PTR for the whole family including DH 'over there'

I just found your PTR, I too am a military wife although DH is in the AF. I also served 4 yrs in the AF and am actually applying to go back Active Duty this fall. So from one military wife to another thank you and my thoughts are with you and your DH while he is deployed. I know how hard it can be separated from your spouse...I have been apart from DH for 1.5 yrs now (we got married last fall...long story) but I am lucky in the fact that he is in England.

I hope you are having a great time in Disney and I love all of the care package ideas you have for you DH. Hopefully you can give us a TR when you get back!

Unfortunately, I didn't send a package from the hotel. I asked the PO on Thursday before heading out, and they said to send to an APO/FPO you would have to have the customs forms stamped by an actual postal clerk if the package was over 1 pound. I just sent lots of lots of postcards and found odds and ends to send when I get home.
