What do I need to put on packages that I send to my resort? How long ahead of time do you usually send stuff?

Are you talking about sending things to your resort from you house or when you purchase things and have them sent to your resort? :confused3

We usually send our stuff down a week before we leave. UPS works well because you get a tracking number & someone signs for it, so we print a copy of this before we leave-just in case! Make sure the correct resort address is on the box, as well as your name & reservation number & your check-in date. If it arrives before you get there, they will hold it in a back room. At check-in there will be a note in the computer that it's there & they will either give it to you then or have someone bring it up within minutes.

This is something I need to know too. I don't drink coffee in the am but I do drink a soda pop that I don't think they have in or near Disney World called Big Red. I was really hating the idea of lugging a case of the stuff in my Jeep along with all our luggage. Shipping it would be so much easier. I'm sure it will cost a fortune but I NEED my Big Red! :scared1:

We frequently send a package down a day ahead of us(PSP, coffee, laptop, that sort of thing). We have never had a problem thus far. You can find the mailing address of your resort on the Disney website, just make sure that your day of arrival is on the package. I use DHL Express for three reasons, the service is prompt and on time, the lovely company colors and, oh yeah, I work there so I get a huge discount. :thumbsup2
