Good morning! I am hoping someone here can help me. A few months ago I had some friends stay at POR and I wanted to send an amenity to their room. I called POR Guest Services and was told it was not possible. As I work in a hotel myself (and have worked at POFQ in the past) I asked every question I could think of, and she still said no. Next week, my family is staying at SSR without me, and I would like to try and send them an amenity. Can anyone advise me how to do this? Many thanks!

I know other people send themselves packages. What if you just had it sent to the front desk? Upon check-in the people you are sending it to can ask if they had a package arrive? Not ideal, but then you would be able to send something to them.

Thanks, Stinkerbell. I think I will do that. I will need to get my act together this morning, as they are checking in on Monday!

Another option would be Memories by Sara www dot memoriesbysarah dot com

I have used them in the past and the baskets are wonderful.

You actually have a number of options and I'm surprised that the people at POR didn't at least suggest the Disney Florist. In addition you have Peggy from here on the DIS and Gifts of a Lifetime. They all offer park shopping services, as well as gift delivery to the resort.

Thanks, everyone. Tammi, I actually specifically asked about sending flowers and she just said no. Quite hlepful, huh?

I just sent an amenity to my parents last week at the GF. I went through the Disney Florist and they were super helpful!

HTH!

We've always used the Disney florist for baskets flowers etc, you can call or oder online. Id look and see what you want from the website and then call so you can make sure they get the details all right. DF will deliver it to the resort, if you would like it to be waiting in the room for your familt so when they walk in for the first time its sitting right there, they can arrange that too just let them know what youd like !! they always make it happen, they are fantasmic!!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes its very cute!! A little pricey but way worth it and AWESOME baskets!!!

heres the site!

HTH !!! :thumbsup2

1) Watch how you phrase the question.
2) The CM might have understood "it's in room at check-in".
3) This is a common request - which cannot be honored.
4) Packages are not placed in the room prior to check-in (unless Club Floor).
5) Thus, the answers were correct.
6) If you want the package after check-in, all the options above will work.
