As you may have read in my trip report, I picked up food poisoning at DLRP and would like to send a letter.

Some kind person gave me a link to contacts, but can I confirm on here that the following:

... is the best place to send an English letter of complaint?

By writing, I would say so - Guest Relations are the department that handle complaints.

How rotten, I hope you get some sort of result!

Is it a bit 'un-Disneylike' of me to expect a freebie or two?

Even a meal voucher for Casey's would be better than nothing.

no i would pretty much expect something from Disney. As the woman who sorted out my recent complaint said, they took it as a compliment that I had faith in them to rectify the situation.

Fingers crossed - was it Caseys where you picked up the food poisoning?

On my last trip to DLP I got food poisoning too!! It was on the very last day...they had to get the doctor for me it was that bad.
I didn't even think about firing off an email/letter..........Hopefully you will get something for it
When we arrived we noticed someone in reception looking really terrible too looked like their last day aswell.
I am taking cup a soups and a kettle next time!
On the bright side...i lost about a stone! NEVER felt like that in my life

I am always disgusted that any food outlet should get away with causing this, it could be fatal for some people!

Hope you are better now Having had food poisoning in Egypt I can relate to how scary it is

I can't be sure where I got it from but I THINK it was the hotel buffet...I ate a bit of pasta that I has to spit out I was in S.FE hotel.

I have rebooked there again as I really don't know. But i'm not going near the buffet just incase.

What was annoying was the fact we had to go home so we didn't have a room...we had to hang around the reception for 4 hrs

I remember coming out of the toilet and sitting down again with my OH and only managing 6 secs then having to run again, this went on for the 4 hrs Then it was about an hr bus ride to the airport with NO toilet! YES i was crying like a kid and rocking back and forth.
Got to the airport and ran for my life to the loos and the cleaner stopped me and said i had to go elsewhere I swore at here and pushed her outta the way...by the sounds coming from the cubicle I think she got my point! and yes I did go out to apologise but there was no sign of her Think I must have made her sick
