I would love to send a friend a gift next week. They will be on their Honeymoon at The Yacht Club. I know there is a great place you can do this if you want to send someone something on the Cruise but what about at the resorts? If anyone has any links to some places down there that delivers. That would be great. Thanks Brenda

Out of experience of sending gifts of all kinds to people everywhere, I have one word of advice. Wait until after they have checked in and have an actual room before sending a gift.

I know there are several florists you can use and I think there is a disney florist, If you want to send champagne, or chocolates, or specialty items, like a cake, you call the Yacht Club private dining. You can call them and they will fax you a list of their items and prices. I also think they need 24 hours notice on some things.

Decide on what you wish to send and how much do research here on what sounds best.

Sometimes the best surprises come a few days later when they are least expected :Pinkbounc

How nice of you!!! I'm sure they'll appreciate it.......

I agree with waiting a few days after they've checked in......... but a few other suggestions would be the GF Bakery, they have wonderful desserts, cakes, specialty things, newlyweds would love. Here is a link to a thread that might help.........

If you already have the gift in mind, you can just mail it to the resort, again, I'd wait until they've checked in........... you can find the address and phone number on the page above.

A board member, feralpeg, also has a gift box service, if you do a search of her name, you will find a link to her website. She does some wonderful boxes, and is making one up for us this week when we are in Disney celebrating our 15th anniversary.

My DH's manager sent us champagne, cheese and crackers, and flowers to us on our Disney honeymoon. He just called the Disney Florist and told them what resort we were staying at. It was delivered the first night of our stay at 7:59pm - exactly one minute before Wishes started from our balcony at the GF.

The flowers were so beautiful that I made by DH carry them back home with us on the plane. :)

It was a great surprise! :bride: :groom:

There should be no problem with recieving a delivery the day you check in. If it is delivered prior to your room assignment, they will hold it at the front desk until you arrive or the room is assigned.

We used Feralpeg's great service on our last trip. We had just checked in, walked into our room and heard a knock at the door. It was a cm with our gift basket! I highly recommend Feralpeg. Check into her service! I know we'll definitely use her again on our next trip!

Feralpeg,I cannot find a link to your website. Sorry! I have heard great things about your baskets! Could you please post the link? :earsboy:

Sorry, I'm not allowed to do that. I'll PM you.

Thanks so much for the link! Beautiful baskets! Now I just have to decide which one. :wave2:
