Selling Gift Cards on eBay - has anyone gotten burned?

I've sold a LOT on eBay and I've only gotten burned once and that was an international shipping issue. I have three gift cards (two to Kohl's and one to Longhorn Steakhouse) that I want to sell but for some reason I'm hesitant to sell them on eBay even though I've had really good experiences overall with eBay. I know I can sell them on Plastic Jungle but they aren't offering a lot for them and I still have to mail all of them in. I was just wondering if anyone has had a bad experience selling a gift card. Thanks!

I might be hesitant to buy gift cards for the same reason I wouldn't buy Disney tickets on ebay...because I would be afraid I would send my money and then they wouldn't really have the value stated, or there would be a catch.

But selling them on ebay I wouldn't think would be a problem. Offer them for sale in the US only if you are worried about international shipping issues.

You could use the Kohl's cards to get some really great deals and then sell the merchandise for profit if you are more comfortable with that??

kohls sells other gift cards. could you use the kohls to buy others?

I wouldn't buy a gift card from a third party, period. I also don't get selling gift cards. Is there NOTHING you can buy at Kohls? If you don't like/want to shop at the store or restaurant that the gift card is for, you could always regift it or donate it to a charity.

I used to sell them sometimes. I haven't in the last 2 years because you can't leave a buyer bad feedback anymore and it seems like ebay has more scammers than it used to so I won't do it anymore.

I've bought gift cards too and used to save quite a bit but now they go for face value or even more than face value so I stopped buying.
