Selling DVC

I will start by saying I am being impatient I know. We are selling our DVC contract and sent back our closing documents 6-17-21. What time frame am I looking at with receiving our proceeds? We are using Magic Vacation Title. Thank you.

I have used them and had no issues with Magic Vacation Title. In terms of timing, you are more at the mercy of the other party (buyer) returning docs and Disney in the ROFR process.

Most likely 30 days.

Check with them because some title companies hold proceeds until the points have transferred to the buyer and it’s been verified that the points are correct.

Not sure MVTs policy.

Your buyer has until closing date to send funds, and then the title company has until whatever their conditions are to release it. Hopefully, those things will happen quickly.

The quickest way to get paid is to have Disney ROFR it. They pay up faster. Since it passed ROFR probably shortly after closing.

Not easily predictable. Could be within a week of you being told the sale has closed. Could be longer.

we just sold a contract and once closed it took about 3 weeks for our check to arrive. We just got it this past thursday. We sold
one contract and bought another. The one we sold took longer than the one we bought. Not sure how the companies differ on speed but so many factors I guess

our contract we sold yes *** and that is the one that took longer! The one we bought was way quicker Mason Title.
