selling DVC-who pay annual fees for Dec UY?

If I have a DEC UY, do Jan 2020 dues paid cover Dec 2020 points? If I sold my DVC in Dec, can I request that buyer reimburse for those dues?

They run on different calendars. Your 2019 December UY covers Dec 2019 thru Nov 2020. Your 2020 dues covers JAN 2020 thru Dec 2020,

Who pays what is subject to negotiation. My rule of thumb is that whoever used the points has to pay the dues. But the deal might be structured either way.

Everything is negotiable. I have always offered based on month I was buying if the points were there.

Same with selling..I paid based on month if all were there.

I just bought and because they had banked 2018, 2019 and 2020, I am reimbursing for 2020.

But, when I bought SSR in 2017 with Dec UY in July, I only offered 6 months dues even though I got all 2020 points.

thanks. I might just semi-strip before I sell (maybe next year), as I don't think the loaded contracts go for much more than average or even somewhat stripped. you got a good deal! I just looked and I didn't pay for DEC UY 2013 points when I bought in Jan 2014.
