Have any of you that has sold a contract previously ever listed it with multiple brokers at the same time?

I recall there being one broker who required exclusive rights to the listing, but I can't remember which broker that is.

Some of the brokers also comarket with others but I think they tend to be the same ones that don't require exclusive listings.

I never ended up doing it but considered it a few years back when I was selling. One of the things that was explained to me at the time was that if they got a full price offer, then I was obligated to the commission, even if I turned it down because I had already accepted another offer. While I knew the changes were slim that I'd get two offers right at the same time, I was just worried that with my luck, I'd end up having an issue.

So, I just listed with one.

You would only be obligated to the commission if you got both a full price offer and had not notified them it was no longer available assuming a non exclusive listing.

Yes, we just sold a contract and had it listed with four brokers simultaneously. We asked about exclusivity before doing so and each just said that they do ask to be notified if the contract sells elsewhere so they can take it down.
