Selling as a "lot" -- how much would you discount?

I listed a bunch of my maternity clothes -- things that I've outgrown & since I'm done having babies, I'm anxious to get it all GONE!! -- on a swap group I'm a part of on FB.

I listed the items as $3 each, except for one dress that was fancier and a little more expensive... I asked $5 for that.

I said I'd discount the price if more than one item was bought and a member contacted me and said they'd like everything. YAY!

If I add it all up at the original price, it's $68. I'm not sure what is a fair amount to take off for buying all of the items. I was thinking $55 for everything... but I really have no idea if that's a good price or not. What would you guys ask for everything?

I'd say $55 is fair. She may counter with $50. Decide if you'll take $50 if she offers.

I think $55 is a very good price and I'd jump on the chance to get it all GONE!

There is value in having to only deal with one person, rather than many, that want your stuff. It's definitely worth something. So I think $55 is a more than fair amount and if she counters with $50....I'd take it and be done with the whole thing.

Thanks for the input, everyone. :) I emailed the buyer back this morning and suggested $55 -- we'll see what she says from there. It's a fairly close-knit swap group and I've made transactions with this particular girl before. We also have our kids in storytime at the library together. She hasn't been the type on the past to try to low-ball people on prices or haggle an extreme amount, so I don't expect much in the way of a push back from her... but I'd certainly take $50 if she comes back with it.

I've got a couple more lots that I need to put together since over the course of both of my pregnancies, I've been pregnant for all seasons. And with this pregnancy, I've gotten so big that I've had to buy an entire new wardrobe in a larger size. It'll be so nice to get this all out of the house (and earn a bit of money back on it all)!

What a great deal! I've been pregnant 5 times (one loss) and I've been pregnant through all seasons also. I'd be doing the happy dance if I got $50 for all my maternity!! I have tubs and tubs and tubs of the stuff!

That definitely sounds like a fair discounted price. I would be surprised if she asked you to discount it even more. :)

I did the same when I had 3rd DS. $55 cerainly sounds like a fair price but if she offers $50 I would take it too. Congratulations on you new bundle of joy coming soon!
