I have sent all my doucments/payment and it was received by time share store 5 days ago they said they are just waiting on the sellers paperwork. The 100 points that are in the contract have to be used by may 31... what are the odds that i will be able to rent a studio anywhere on disney property for the last week of may? how much longer should this take after the sellers papers get to the timeshare store before i can make a reservation... the closer it gets the more i worry wish i could have just had the old owners make a reservation when the process started in march.

First, the owner could not have made a reservation in March. Once a property comes under a contract for sale, Disney cancels any reservations.

Two, you may face disappointment. Once paperwork is all in, you then have a closing (that could take a week or two). After there is a closing, you then wait for up to about a week for the change in membership to be recognized by DVC so you can make reservations. Last week in May is Memorial Day time, fairly high demand, and chances of finding anything calling two weeks out (probably what you are looking at) are slim except possibly for SSR.

We just got a studio for end of May, first few days of June with no problem a couple of weeks ago. The resort availability varied as to which CM I talked to, and when I called. To get multiple days in the same room, you will most likely be limited to OKW or SSR. I feel your pain about the sellers dragging their feet. We just had to cancel a BWV contract because the seller refused to get a document that was needed for closing. Six weeks after ROFR and we still hadn't gotten any closing papers. We have had some very motivated sellers and just the opposite with the last seller, I don't think things could've gone any more wrong with that last resale contract.

Just to clarify a few points from the above emails. Disney will not cancel a pending reservation if the property is scheduled to close after the reservation is complete. They will only cancel an existing reservation if closing should occur before the reservation has been used.

Also, when all documents have been received by both the buyer and the seller and they are all correct, it should only take 1 to 2 business days for closing to occur.

If you still have some concerns, please call The Timeshare Store, Inc.®, talk to your associate and maybe we can see why there is a delay with the seller and ask the seller to return the documents as soon as possible.
