Nope. I'll be the lone voice in the wilderness here.

Well, nearly lone...
My wife has the Droid (motorola) and we have Verizon for our personal cells.
Used to have Verizon for my work phone too. Life was good.
Then, AT&T became the carrier for work. I had had terrible trouble with this carrier several years ago and switched to Verizon. I knew I was in for trouble.
I cover the east coast for my company. I am a compliance officer and have to be able to take calls and check emails nearly round the clock.
I hate, loathe and despise, AT&T on service issues alone. Is that clear enough?

TERRIBLE problems with dropped calls (more dropped than not). Lack of service areas. Disney? Don't get me started. Another day yesterday with "no service" with AT&T, yet Verizon was just fine.
The iPhone? Big deal. Give me the Droid with the touch screen AND the keyboard (I need a keyboard, my hands are too big LOL).
So, that little tirade to say, Go with Verizon, GO with the DRIOD and just say no to AT&T. Should Verizon offer an iPhone, maybe... but only if you are totally comfortable with no keyboard, and having to download apps for nearly anything.
