sell me on crocs

I haven't actually seen real crocs, only offbrands. So I tried on the ones at Walmart & Target. Then I tried on the ones from Payless, wow those were nice. Personally, if the real crocs are comfy like the ones fom Payless, then I'd spend the $15 more and get the crocs. I can see why people like them.

I really don't like the way they look that much either...except the little ones I got for DS6-they are so cute.. :p :
I also had trouble with sizing when I tried on the real thing..I wear a 7, can't wear a 5-6, or 7-8 or whatever "double" sizing they use...

I got mine in LIMEGREEN, of course. :cool1:

Personally I returned mine. They come in sizes like medium (8-9) and large (10-11). My husband who is a size 9 mens had no problems with the large size and kept his. I am a size 9 womens (size 8 mens) and the mediums were too tiny and the large ones way too big. my feet hurt wearing the mediums.

The point here is buy a pair, keep the receipt and return em if they hurt you.

maybe you need to try the "cayman" model for it comes with narrow and wide and they come in the single digits sizes... the "beach comes in as s.m.l.

also now I found the "cloud" but only in four colors .. no lime :( but it has a elevated heel .. it was designed as diabetic shoes but it also works even better with my heel spur... so "cloud" get to be used at work and "beach is for play at the World :).. They even have boots for winter! To match my scrubs uniform! :rotfl:

I've been thinking about buying my first pair - however I have very wide feet, would anyone know if they are made "Wide"??

yes... :thumbsup2

I love my crocs.
I had 3 pair and I recently bought one of the clouds for my DH and the Relief for myself from the Crocs RX line.
My DH loves his clouds and wears them all the time.
It has helped his back and can stay on his feet much longer than he ever could before.
:thumbsup2

:tinker: :eeyore: :stitch:

:woohoo: CROCS ROCK!!!! :thumbsup2

I'm a nurse who used to have very sore feet at the end of each day. Not since I've gotten my Crocs. They are SOOOOOO comfy.

For me, the sizing of the Cayman style is much better than the Beach. I didn't like the S-M-L thing, either. Also, I think the Cayman is better for wide feet. My feet are very wide. In the Beach style, the medium fit in length, but felt too narrow. The large fit in width, but were way too long. The Cayman is just right in width and length. I'll have to check out their website again to see the new styles.

My DD said they were the most ugly things she'd ever seen in her life.....UNTIL she tried them on! Now, she has purple ones and adores them. My younger DS says he'd never want a pair because they're so ugly, yet I catch him wearing mine around the house all the time. Older DS and DH think they're hideous and just laugh. We'll see who's laughing in comfort and who's feet are sore at Disney World! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

LOVE 'EM! My DH bought a pair last year and I thought they were the ugliest shoe I've ever seen. Of course he first heard about them here on the disboard. So this summer I saw the thong sandal style at Dick's and gave them a try. After wearing them for a week or two I decided that one pair was not enough! Of course I needed different colors. Just happened to have MIL with us when we stopped at Dick's and she ended up buying a pair. They may not be much to look at, but they feel GREAT! I now have two pairs of sandals and (ugh!) a pair of the clog w/holes style. Sneakers have always been my shoe of choice when at WDW, but this past June I wore my Crocs and never took my sneakers out of the suitcase. I probably won't even pack them for my visit to WDW next week!

Really, PINK????

I'm gonna have to turn you in to DISUNC about this one, I'm afraid! :hyper2: Yep, this is all going in my report.. :rotfl:

I really don't like the way they look that much either...except the little ones I got for DS6-they are so cute.. :p But they are soooo light-they weigh nothing. And they are comfy. I gave in and got some look-a-likes at Goodies-on sale for $7.50. I would NOT pay $30 for them..heck, I haven't even had the nerve to wear them, and I've had them for 3 weeks...

Can I get them in lime green?

I think they would just look as silly as the pink so either way, I am going to look like a "dork" :rotfl: I guess - no offense to anyone.

Crocs are as comfortable as they are ugly! :rotfl:
They feel like you are not wearing anything on your feet. I have them, so do my DD and my DS. My DH just laughs at them and wont try them. I wish he would because I know he also would think they are so comfortable.

Not meaning to sound "snooby" :rolleyes1 but i am usually wearing petty expensive clothes, I just dont want to "ruin my look" with rubber shoes . . . .

i am totoally not sure . . .

OH YES they come in LIMEGREEN!!! Go back to your LGMHPC thread and see the discussion about them...They are part of the official uniform for attracting other Dissers! ( I was just kidding-I won't really report you to DISUNC if you really want to get the PINK .) :rotfl:

I LOVE the comment about them looking like clown feet..And the yellow ones looking like Mickey feet...

I am afraid to drive in them, they are so clunky. I guess I could kick them off in the car, anyon have difficulty driving and more importantly, stopping?? :drive:

Nope! I drive 30 miles to and from work every day in them and I've never had a problem driving or stopping. :teeth:

I proudly own orange, off white and black
thinking of getting a new pair with no holes in the top
for fall!
a woman in a grocery store a couple of weeks ago walked by me in an aisle when i was looking at an item on a shelf
and loudly proclaimed "boy-you can see those shoes everywhere!" i was wearing my orange ones.....
I just looked at her....said nothing/////
:rolleyes1

I live in the middle of nowhere...and not many people have these shoes. The generics are easy to find at walmart but the real crocs were hard to find. Anyway, I found a pair and I love them! I do notice that people are looking at my feet in an odd way but too bad! I LOVE MY CROCS! You have to just get a pair and try them!

DD and I love our crocs, we have had them since Feb, and they are pretty much her shoe of choice.... I wear mine most visits to Disney (we visit a park 3 or more times a month for day trips), they are red, so I dont' wear them every day.... They are also great for around the pool when I am hosing down the lanai.... I have even worn them in the pool and they feel cool when walking and treading water!

My sister bought a pair in May before she even left MCO when I took her into the store - she has added another pair to her wardrobe. Same trip we bought my great nephew a couple days into the trip since the rest of us had them he wanted them... he loved the cushiony feel and said they made hime jump high (he is six), Yesterday my mother and other great nephew arrived from PA, and much to my surprise they BOTH had Crocs. DGN is 11 and I did not think he would ever wear them (very tough boy) and he thinks they are the BEST thing......

I know folks say they have no support, but I have high arches and my feet don't ache after a day at Disney. I love the fact that DD can wear them without socks and her feet don't smell like with sneakers.

I am going to get myself a more subdued color navy probably in the near future in the Cayman style - the one without the holes all over the top for something different than I have now!

CMs are always asking us about them, as they see so many. One of the operaters on Mark Twain said she was going to get herself a pair.....

We love seeing what colors we see in the parks, and think it's great when we see WHOLE families with them!!! Little girl feet, boy feet, mommy and daddy feet all in CROCS!

Here are DDs happy feet with Piglet's feet.... they had fun comparing PINK Feet!

I have just ordered my first pair of Caymens, I got the PINK ones too! I can't wait for them to get here to see whether they are as good as people say they are! I am pregnant so I need something that I can get my swollen feet into! :teeth:
