Sell me on CASEY'S CORNER.....

So...I see this thread earlier today, and read the title to my dh. His response??? CDNs honey, CDNs!!! Now, you have to understand that the man is not a big WDW fan. So, imagine my surprise when he asked if he could tag along, for just a few days, during my 7night 'girls' trip this Aug. Said he really wanted some CDNs in the worst way! So, he gets to go for 3 nights and have his CDNs.
Looks like he's not the only one out there with a CDN addiction.
The regular hot dogs aren't bad either....I really enjoy having one while watching life go by on Main St.

Your husband had me totally fooled! I thought he was going there for the "Canadians"! We abbreviated Canadian as CDN, and I thought it was sweet that he was going to Casey's to see us! LOL :rotfl2:

It's possibly my favorite place to eat anywhere, ever. I think the draw to Casey's for me is all about the atmosphere & nostalgia. Sit outside & enjoy the view!!

The hotdogs are just hotdogs, nothing special, and certainly nothing like a Chicago hotdog!! But they taste so much better while hanging out watching a Disney parade go by!!

ps- I have never even noticed that they had corn dog nuggets....have they always had those or are they relatively new?

everyone raves about those corndog nuggets on here but they have them at A&W if anyone has had those how do the ones at Casey's compare?

not much to sell you on - if you like hot dogs - then it's a good choice - and acheap choice too

I hear lots of people say great things about the place. It's on the (tiny) list of places I haven't eaten yet. I've never seen a reason to try it. What's the historic/nostalgic deal with it? Do you recommend it??? Why???

I love it because 1) The food is yummy 2) It is perfect to sit and eat on the curb of Main St while waiting for Spectro and WISHES!! We almost always do that: get dinner, get a spot & eat, wait for Spectro. Killing 2 birds with one stone.

When my boys were little Casey's saved many a meltdown. It was quick and kid friendly. And to this day, it's the first place my now teenage boys want to eat when we hit the MK. It's become something of a tradition.

Personally, I didn't like the hot dogs at all (can you say heartburn the rest of the day). It is definitely not on our "to do" list.

:rotfl2: I thought the same thing. I was kind of scratching my head thinking if he likes going to Disney to see Canadians he would be in heaven if he came to Canada:rotfl::rotfl:

Count me in as another fan of the Corndog Nuggets! I've tried them elsewhere and they just don't compare!

I don't care for the new buns. Also, didn't they used to be footlongs? I was disappointed this time around. But, we'll still eat there everytime we go. It's the only place my son actually asks for.

I have this on my list for a MK meal. Haven't eaten there before, but with the theme and the reasonable price, it should be a hit with us.

I agree...the corndog nuggets are awesome...and my favorite place to eat while at MK

Does anybody know if the hot dogs are a certain brand , like Nathan's or sabrett?

As mentioned before, it's the location that's the thing...

We love it in the evening. If you're lucky, you can score an outdoor table close enough to the edge of Main Street to see most of the parade. Not the best view in 'the world', but having a table to sit at makes up for the obstructed view.

One of our favorite places to be... :goodvibes

Hot dog dipped in cheese sauce...YUM.

French Fries dipped in more cheese sauce cuz you ran out...EVEN YUMMIER!!!

We cannot get enough of that cheese sauce:cool1:

And to think my son can go there every single day of the week as a CP'er. I am beyond jealous.:) But not for long, only 11 more days!!
