Hi All,

We have read this board with interest & found it of great use in planning our trip to Disney World Sat 15th May.

We are going for two weeks so have opted for 5 day hopper plus tickets as we want to hit universal as well but we have just been sent our pass tickets & noticed a slight problem.

All our Disney tickets have '10 DAY WORLD SPECIAL' printed on them. we also have character breakfast vouchers in the pack?. Is this normal for all Disney passes bought in the UK to bear this or have we been sent the wrong ones?.
We really don't want to be turned away from the gates for having the wrong tickets or for someone to discover they havent got what they have paid for.

Seligo are closed until Monday & thats getting a little to close for comfort so does anyone who has used seligo tickets remember what they were marked with?.

Thanks in anticipation.

You shouldn't woryy.
What you have is the 10 day world ticket - which includes a free character breakfast, usually costing around 199.
Did you specifically ask for a 5 day hopper plus? Did you buy in a travel agent? Check your receipt if you have one.
A 5 day hopper plus is cheaper than a 10 day world pass - not sure of exact price.
The 10 day ticket is very popular - we used it last year, and got a free breakfast with it - but don't worry, you won't be turned away or anything like that. It gives you 10 days unlimited admission to any of the 4 theme parks and the water parks for 21 days, after that it expires.

hope that helps

Thanks Cath,

We booked the 5 day hopper plus & the 4 park orlando flexy ticket from Virgin with the holiday but when their tickets arrived the Disney passes were omitted. They were aparently cancelled without our knowledge!.
We then got a refund from Virgin & booked 5 day hopper plus tickets from seligo via First Choice travel agents.

Our receipt does show 5 day hopper plus tickets though?.

We figured thats 11 of 14 days covered in parks, that should be enough!.

Oh well, sounds like you have a bargain. The price of a 5 day hopper plus is approx 165 I think!!!
The only difference (apart from the number of days) is that any unused days on the 5 day hopper would never expire, whereas with the 10 day ticket, any unused days after 21 days from first use will expire and be lost.

Don't forget your free breakfast!! Why not make a PS?

The good thing with the hopper though is that unused days and plus entrances never expire....

Priority Seating, basically if you know which character breakfast you want to attend you could phone from the UK and book your seats however Priority Seating does not guarantee you will get a seat at the time booked but if really busy you will be seated as soon as a table is free having said that we have always been seated at the times we've booked in the past.

You've only really got a bargain if you think you can make use of the additional 5 days you've acquired. If not, these passes will expire whether you use them or not.

Having 10 days rather than 5 does afford you some flexibility, though. Rather than feeling that you have to stay in the parks from opening until closing to get your money's worth, you have some options:

You could hit some first thing in the morning (best to do this early in the trip when the jetlag will have you awake at the crack of dawn) and then leave for some shopping or a water park. This way you can get many of the popular attractions done before the crowds start to build.

You could arrive for the afternoon parades and then stay on for the evening entertainment.

You could turn up for the evening entertainment only. We're expecting it to be busy when we visit in July, so we've scheduled some like this. For example, during evenings when two showings of SpectroMagic (MK) or Fantasmic (MGM) are scheduled, we'll turn up for the later (much quieter) showings. Similarly, we often spend an evening at the BoardWalk and then pop over to Epcot for IllumiNations.

Hi, this sort of happened to us last year.
We brought 7 day hopper plus and when they arrived 2 had the disney Quest on and 2 didn't. We phoned up our Travel agent who assured us that it was fine and we wouldn't have a problem going in.
Off we go on a wet day into disney quest 2 of us went in and 2 of us could not !!
The Disney staff were really nice but unless we payed again we could not enter.
At the time i was really mad especially as we noticed the mistake and called them about it, to be assured that there was no problemand our ticket's were all the same.
We had a lovely day nevertheless.
On our return we phoned up and told them what had happened, they were very apologetic and refunded our money for all disney quest entrance, +a disney soft cuddly toy for the girls and a voucher for £70.00, not bad but shouldn't have happened.
My only advice is if it's the 5 day hopper you want phone them now we enjoyed the hopper tickets and have 3 days for our next trip, it worked outwell as we could visit a different disney park in the evening without using another day.
If you fancy the 10 day then keep mum about them and good on you for saving yourself some pennies.
Whatever you decide you will have a ball, happy holidays,
Chucklechops

Thanks to everyone for all your help.

Our main concern was that we would get there and be unable to use the tickets at all.

UKDEB, really helpfull suggestions on using the 10 day ticket. We did not think we could have made use of it but that was good advice, thanks. We would have used all 5 days anyhow.

It does seem like we have got more than we paid for so we have been lucky but the downside maybe that someone else has probably not received the the correct tickets. I sincerly hope they check although most people would!.

We started packing today, not long now:D
