i am sure NO STREKS MEANS NO STREKS

AS ANY ONE GOT ANY SULOUTIONS TO REMOVAL AND CAN YOU BUY SOMETHING TO HELP.

THE TANGO ORANGE LADY

Not sure of removal I used the Johnsons Holiday skin and it did go streaky and also my hands orange,I stopped using and exfoliated you are meant to exfoliate before applying, to make sure all dry/dead skin is removed etc.
I would use a body scrub and see how you go it will fade.
Never heard of removal creams for it, A friend of mine sent some Virgin Vie to correct and smoothen out blemishes in the end and that worked a treat :thumbsup2

exfoliating is worth a try, worked for me in the past. I've stopped using fake tan now though, it never looks right. I will just have to be pale and interesting. ;)

Also Lemon Juice is meant to help? My friend uses Johnsons baby wipes with a bit of lemon juice and swears it does the trick!

Exfoliating, lemon juice and going for a swim in a public pool, lots of chlorine will soon remove the tan.

If I was painting a car and it had streaks I would rub it down with some wet 'n' dry paper and start again :)

I've got the same problem as you kizzy...i put some virgin vie fake tan on at ther other day, showing my friends at work, an hour later i looked like a zebra crossing, so i put some more on and made it twice as bad...ive scrubbed, ive put creams everything on and now have given up! oh well, lesson learned!

BTW just noticed your from Dudley, im from Stourbridge!

Same thing here, it looks awful. I can't face going out there with my normal skin colour again - I actually reflect sunlight! Anyone got any ideas what I can do other than use a tanning booth - that's a last resort.

I bought and tried the johnson's holiday lotion but only used it once due to streaking. When i metioned it to my sister she gave me baby wipes (huggies) and it came off no problem. Don't know if it will come off with any other make but these definitely work.

Baby wipes are indeed a powerful thing. If they can remove house paint (oh yes they do :guilty: ) then they should certainly shift a little fake tan. I feel your pain!

Yep, I believe that good old babywipes will also remove felt tip pen from paintwork....................

How about a spray tan Queenie?
Not sure how long they last though :confused3

:sunny:

If in a hurry and you want to get rid of it now. Try metho, or turps. Also detol (sp) cleaning clothes do it as well (and they melt paint).

Sorry, can't help with removing of streaks, but as far as spray tans go you do need to be a little careful here as well, I had one (st. tropez) about a year ago, exfoliated prior using some exfoliant that the beauty therapost gave me, but the day I had it done was the hottest day of the year, not good when using spray tan, you've guessed it it went streaky, apparantly because of excessive sweating (us ladies don't sweat we glow don't we!!!) but I did get a full refund even though I looked a bit freakyish for a while!!!!!

I use Johnson's Holiday Skin. Picked up the "normal to darker skin" version (instead of the "fair to normal skin") and had a bit of s shock at first - went to bed pale, woke up "tanned"/"Orange".

You do have to be very thorough when rubbing it in - all over, well rubbed in (because the lotion isn't covered, it can be tricky working out if you have missed anywhere...).

Also, like the bottle says, wash hands after use... (throughly!)

thank you all for your nice replies. i do hope you didnt laugh at me to much. i am glad to know that you have all been there and done that. :thumbsup2

As for the tan well, i gave up wearing cover on my legs and arms with jeans and long sleeve tops as its far to hot. my friends say "it doesnt look that bad" but i know they are trying to make me feel better. I have tried all your advice and it's now fading. Few more hot deep baths and scrubs with lemon juice and salt and ill be back to my milk bottle old self. the things we do for disney....

again thank you

kirsty :)
