Self Parking at GCH while using DVC Points

We were not able to get a DVC room for our June stay, so we ended up using points for a GCH room. Will we still be able to use the DVC free self parking benefit?

Based on posts to this board, you will receive free self parking.
I have not used points for GCH (only VGC), so cannot personally confirm.

Yes you will get free parking. Your using dvc points so regardless if it’s a dvc or regular room you will receive that benefit.

That’s good to know. We are using points at Grand Californian Hotel and it didn’t occur to me that we might get free parking. Do we need to ask for it, or will it automatically charge (or, rather, not charge) to our room?

Make sure you check the members website for benefits before you go — there are quite a few discounts!
