We've not used DDP before so I was just wondering if we'd hold things up by trying to use the self serve stations, as opposed to waiting for a cm. I wasn't sure how easy it was to make mistakes (ie. order things not included on DDP, eg. certain drinks or extra sides) and if the screen would tell you this or not!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like waiting in the usual queue is preferable, at least we can talk directly to the cm to make sure we are doing things right![]()
Also, I liked being able to see on the screen that my order was entered correctly (like hold the mayo, etc).Jumping in with a question ...
I am intrigued with Contempo Cafe as a possible lunch option when we're in MK - the choices seem different than the normal CS menus (thinking about the Mahi sandwich)
Can you 'customize' your order - for instnace, if a grilled chicken sandwich comes with cheese - can I say 'no cheese'?

Yes. After you put the menu item in your "cart", it will lists the items that can be removed (like cheese or mayo), and ask you if you want to modify these items. I was able to remove mayo/sauce on different items and I remember seeing options about cheese. Oh course if you have any problems or something isn't listed, you can talk to a CM.
Btw, we loved the contempo cafe's unique items. I liked the mahi sandwich, but my favorite was the hot roast beef. My DH loved the hot turkey sandwich that has apples & apple butter on it. He had it 3 times![]()
Captain Cook's has the touch screens. I think they were at least considering them for Pecos Bill. Be Our Guest is supposed to have them for ordering at lunch.
