Should have buried this sooner. The room was available 2 days ago and when I went to sign up for our cruise in June 2012, it was gone.
Other than that I love the source that the DIS boards are! I will keep checking.

We're in this room in Jun 7, 2011...is there something extra special about it?? I know that the deck 5 verandahs are extra deep, but does this room have another plus (or minus :O )?

Never mind...I just saw the thread about the super-extended verandah! AWESOME! I was excited about the extra deep verandah, but this is even better! So excited!!!

Yay for 5650! We have a duumy date booked but will be pushing it out until spring 2013. We have a lot of flexibility on dates, so my criteria for choosing a date will be whenever I can get 5650 + main dining.

Man, I am never going to be able to re-book this now!!! I have this cabin for a cruise in April and I did a lot of research to know this is the place to be!!! I was waaaay psyched when I saw what appeared to be an even BIGGER verandah!

Now to resurrect that panic thread about the noise and get people going on that again and fleeing the whole of Deck 5!!!

Thanks for confirming what I thought was the case here - but could ya have done it a little quieter!

Is this room just above a hallway in the District or is it above a particular bar? My copy of the deck plans was hard to read.

Well..the resort changer in me...I had 7690...10658...5150...5650..then even an OV...BUT I am back to 7690 (aft)..which looks wonderful Its just me and DD5 on our cruise....(anyone for my roll call yet) 5650's verandah would be too much! My friends were in 5150 on the maiden voyage and sure loved that verandah. I checed to see if either of these two cabins were available for the 12/15/12 Fantasy cruise....already GONE!

I could be the one that snagged 5650 for 12/15/12. I contacted my TA last night and requested that room. I haven't heard back from her yet so it could be on hold for me, not sure yet.

How cool. I booked this stateroom on the Fantasy 6/2/2012 cruise due to the location (close to the kids clubs) & it was not a connecting stateroom. The balcony is certainly a bonus.

Those rooms are actually over the restrooms between 687/The District and Evolutions, so we're not expecting them to be noisy at all. We have them both booked for the October 13th cruise. When will you be sailing?
