Seinfeld Reruns -Kramer

I'm not at all bothered by Michael Richards. To me, his rant was a lot more excusable than Mel Gibson's rant, or Isaiah Washington's rant. I guess because he was in the middle of a comedy act....those guys are digging deep and walking a very fine line of what is funny and what is offensive, and I think he just went off the deep end. I've seen a lot of comedians (both black and white) say pretty much the same thing he did, but in a funny way, and they weren't raked over the coals for it.

That isn't to say I think its right, but I can understand how it happened. I think he was "in the zone" and he just sort of lost it.

In answer to the original question, though, I watch the ocassional Seinfeld rerun and whenever I do I inevitably lmao. Its a funny show that has really been able to withstand time.

ITA. The man has apologized, and in interviews seemed genuinely remorseful about it.

I never cared for the Kramer character...thought he was a little annoying so it hasn't really changed my opinion too much.

I do agree with you when it comes to Isaiah, he referred to a cast mate with a slur. Thats it, he did not say it over and over in a rage and he did not imply lynching that cast mate because of his orientation.

Mel was drunk and made some stupid comments that showed more stupidity than RAGE.

Richards was enRAGED when he made his comments, to me that shows HATE.

Well, my opinion is that he was funny before all that happened and I saw that crap he pulled at the laugh factory as the has been michael richards. The seinfeld era michael richards was funny and seeed cool. My mom said the same thing a while back. I don't know if that is how she still feels but she likes the show anyway.
