Segway's??

I read somewhere that there are supposed to be some Segway Scooters onboard the Magic and Wonder...has anyone ever seen them or rented them? I think the article said you could rent them for 15 minutes or something like that?? I know you can go on that Segway tour at Epcot, but this article said the ships had them too. We were on the Wonder last November, but I didn't see anyone using them.

I rode one on the Wonder in March '03. However, they were not on the Magic in March '04 and December '04, so I suspect they've been removed.

I missed it when we were on the Wonder in 03, was hoping the tehy will be on the Magic this April. I really want to try it but we're not doing any parks this time. Oh well guess we'll have to go back for the Segway.

Nope, no more Segways on board the ships or on Castaway Cay. You can do a tour in Epcot though.

Never say them on board, but they did recall all of them, some huge problem with the gyroscopes inside. Ever see the pictures of President Bush falling off one? That was the problem. I know the National Park service bought a bunch for rangers and returned them all due to the safety problems.
