Segways?

Do you 'regulars' ever see anyone riding around on Segways?

I'm not talking about taking a Segway tour, I mean do campers ever bring Segways with them to ride around on. I am sooooo tempted to buy one of those things, but need someplace to ride it. And, it's just me, so I feel a Golf Cart is too much for just me.

Plus, a Segway can be loaded in the trunk of the car.

I am at the fort and I have seen one. It was blue and parked at the Meadows a couple of days ago.

I stayed at the Poly last June and someone brought one.

I'm not sure how much one of these weigh, an electric scooter with a seat may be easier to handle by yourself, the Schwinn 1000 is a nice scooter.

They weigh about 100 lbs.

Segways are more fun than scooters. And you can take them anywhere that is designed for pedestrians. And you can travel about 25 miles on a fully charged battery.

I want one! I want one!
And only about $5,000. (eeks!)

I would bet that mousesurplus would have a hand in them...they seem to get everything else from Disney these days...

But...I'm not sure I'd trust a used one. I'd be wondering why they took it out of circulation.
