Segway Tour

I know there is a weight limit on this tour - it is ? pounds?

They dont weigh you or anything ........ I know someone who is very nervous that her weight will embarrass her and I keep telling her that they are not going to weigh you but she wont believe me. (She thinks she might "just" be over the limit).

I just got off the phone booking my husband for the Segway Tour. The weight limit is 250 lbs. She didn't say anything about being weighed. My husband would die, even though he is under that!!!

They absolutely do NOT weigh you. The weight limit simply means that you won't get as much "mileage" out of your battery pack as someone who weighs less.

(have taken the Segway tour twice and am at #235 or so pounds....seemed like plenty of room to spare on the Segway and was able to wiggle and stretch while riding....I wasn't confined or caught awkwardly on the machine at all. Hope this helps.)

I haven't done the segway tour yet, doing it the end of April for the first time. There was a thread a couple of days ago on it where someone asked about the weight limit and someone said that a couple of people were weighed on their tour. Here is the link to the thread. The post about weight is on page 2.

Oh my gosh, thankyou for pointing that one out. We've taken the Segway tour twice now and I was never weighed. There was a person in both of our groups who was bigger than me and they weren't weighed either.
