segway tour

I booked a segway tour for my DH as a surprise. Does anyone know if my daughters and I will be able to photograph him once the group comes outside? I heard somewhere the area might be closed off from us.

The area wasn't closed off when we took the tour May 4th.

If you look for the roped off area where the School kids sing (there is a sign), just outside of Communicore on the LAND/Living Seas side. You'll probably see your DH come out about 9:55. Get there 5 minutes early to be safe. This is the optional bathroom break... You'll see all the Seg's lined up against the short walls of the reflecting pool.

At 10:45, get to the barrier rope at the bridge that leads to France. You should see the group heading back to Innoventions like "ducks in a row"...

the segway tour is a behind the scenes tour at epcot. it is about 2 hours in length and the cost is 80pp. there are discounts for AP holders, dvc members or if you pay w/a disney visa. there is a weight limitations of 250# and you must be at least 16 years old. the first hour is spent learning how to ride and manuver the segway. after which you leave the building and travel in a row to world showcase. there are 2 CMs w/you, one leading the way, the other coming up as caboose. you will have free time to ride in a restricted area; then more time to travel through the countries as a group. we did this on wednesday and are planning on booking it again for december. it is awesome! the dates book quickly as only 10 can go at a time. there is talk of possibly adding another one.
