I just wanted to share about the Segway Tour my husband and I took this past week. You have about 1/2 hour to 45 min of instruction inside one of the buildings in the front of Epcot.....then off you go in a line around the countries in Epcot with two guides one in the front one in the back. I have to tell you it was the best time we have had in a long time at WDW.....I think the whole tour is at least 2 hours..

We did have to stay with the guides and the guy, why can't I remember his name, did give us a little history on each country we stopped at, but what a blast riding your very own segway....In Italy, they allowed us a little free time where we could tool around at that great picture area, where you get Spaceship earth in the background, that was a blast and they took a picture of us both on our segways holding hands using our camera...

It was well worth the money to do this tour and I do hope that they offer another tour, maybe a little longer and more free time, I would do it in a heartbeat...

We really enjoyed this tour a couple of years ago too. Did you have the new segways? I heard the tour is given using those now. CMs around the park still were using the old ones earlier this month.

I highly suggest this segway tour.

We did have the new segways and it was incredible....took very little thinking on our part to operate them. I was frightened at first but in no time felt like a pro....just way too cool for words.

I had Lamont and Dong as our guides when I did the tour back in Nov. Both did a great job.

We just need to keep the pressure on Disney to get the Ft. Wilderness off-road Segway XT tour going.

I did the tour too, and thought it was great. The only problem I had was that my feet got stiff and hurt a bit. I think I was a little too tense through my lower legs. You kind of feel as if you have to balance constantly, which makes you inclined to stiffen up.

I hear you about the feet thing....and I do think it is the relaxing of the lower legs that helps....my feet were killing me in the beginning but once I got confident with what I was doing, the pain in my feet were gone.
