Segway Tour - Calafornia Adventure Park

Was just wondering if anyone can let me know if the segway tour at DLCA are good and worth doing?

Hi welley. I did the Segway tour at Caifornia Adventures when it first started. If it is the same now as it was then I would say definetly do it. The tour is early in the morning before the park opens. You start off with a quick instructional video. I also remember that muffins and drinks are provided while you watch the video and sign liability waivers. Then you are off to the area in front of Stage 17, and Monster Inc. to learn to ride your Segway. After everyone has a chance to expierence riding and controlling the Segways you follow a guide throughout DCA. Have fun!

We did the tour in August and had a blast! It's particularly fun to be in the park before it opens and to see some of the stuff that happens behind the scenes.

We got a good discount (15 or 20%--can't remember) for having a Disney VISA card, which made this a lot more affordable. There is also a discount for Annual Pass holders, I believe.

I say go for it!!!

From what I have read, it does look good. I guess the other question would then be, should we book it in advance or wait till we get to DLCA?

I would book in advance since it tends to sell out.
We really enjoyed the tour even though we had to get up really early!
They also give you a free group photo and cool Segway pin!

Another vote for the tour - DH and I just did it a couple of weeks ago. I would book in advance if you can -- but there was a couple that had just purchased the tickets that morning on our tour. We had a total of 10 (but the couple that purchased their tickets that morning had to reschedule because they were wearing flip flops (you must have close-toed shoes).
