Segway Tour at Fort Wilderness

Hey, kids!

10 weeks or so and counting and the planning continues... so here's today's question:

Last time my clan went to Disney, we had a blast doing the Segway tour at Epcot. This year, because we're staying at Fort Wilderness (in the cabins), we're considering doing the "rough terrain" version. But not everyone is sure they want to commit.

So I'm wondering ("Finally!" you all think. "A question!"): How popular is this tour? Does it seem like we'd have a pretty good shot of just booking it during our stay if people decide they want to do it?

As always,
a gazillion thanks (translation: a whole lot of them)
Richard

We saw multiple tour groups each day of our 12 day visit... so I'm guessing they book up pretty well.

Been on it twice, loved it each time. Actually liked it better than the EPCOT one (have done that one twice too.) Going out and about in the "wild" is fun. On both of our tours, it was pretty well booked up. If you wait I think you are really taking a chance. (Had one that was full and one where one Segway was open.) I think you would enjoy it, but that is just me.

I agree with Ken and Sue. We too did the Epcot tour first and then the Fort tour. Loved them both but the Fort tour was much better, :thumbsup2. Do the early tour if possible,, better chance of seeing critters out in the morning (deer etc.)

does anyone have a link which has more info on this? I'm really interested but cannot find details of how to book, or costs anywhere :confused3
