segway tour and flipflops

will my dd be allowed to wear flipflops on the segway tour or should she wear her sneakers?

I don't remember if there is an official rule however, in the slight chance she falls, or panics and jumps off, sneakers would seem to be safer. I've done the tour twice and wouldn't think of doing it in flip flops. Have fun...it is a great tour!

I've never done the tour, but I have ridden a Segway. Wear sneakers!! Especially if she hasn't done it before. It's not like you're trying to walk or anything, but the first minute or so is kind of akward to keep your balance, and getting off was also kind of akward.

They're really fun once you get the hang of it!

Funny you should ask this question. We did the Segway Tour this past April. I do not wear sneakers and had not brought a pair on vacation with us. I had regular flipflop style sandels. The night before our Segway Tour I started thinking if these would be ok for me to take the tour in. I called Disney and finally got through and asked what I thought was a crazy question. The person that help me said there were no rules about what type of shoes could be worn. I wore my sandels and was fine. As long as these are what you are comfortable wearing, I say wear them.
